Whisperheart walked along the gorge staring down at the water.

Tigerlily was padding along the edge cursing to herself. "I just had to try and catch that stupid vole." She muttered.

"Bad luck?"Whisperheart looked over at Tigerlily giving her a small friendly smile. He sat down slowly and curled his tail nearly around his paws.

Tigerlily looked up shocked. "Yeah." She replied softly and shrugged.

Whisperheart purred softly."I'm Whisperheart."he smiled and stretched slowly.

"Tigerlily, you're WindClan, correct?" She asked softly.

"Half Windclan Actually..."Whisperheart looked into her eyes slightly. He looked at his paws slowly.

"Half?" Tigerlily asked confused.

"Oakmeadow is my mother"Whisperheart licked his chest and waited for her response finding out his brother was her Leader.

Tigerlily thought for a moment then looked at him shocked. "I never realized." She meowed softly.

Whisperheart nodded." She gave me to my dad ."he laid down and looked at her his green eyes shining ." So I guess I should leave you alone." He looked at his paws.

Tigerlily shrugged. She didn't mind the company and was sort of stuck where she was, since the ledge of the gorge restricted her movements from little to none.

"Do you need help.."Whisperheart asked softly and got ready to help her if needed.

"No I'm fine." Tigerlily muttered stubbornly and turned attempting she switch the direction she was facing, but nearly lost her footing.

"Stop.. and very carefully rear up on your hind legs."Whisperheart told her and looked around her."Reach up and put your paw in that crack and then slide your foot into the one by your ace." he directed her to safety.

Tigerlily reluctantly listened to him and reared. She placed her paws where she was suppose to, but slipped. She yelped as the ground vanished from beneath her hind paws. She clung to the edge with her forepaws tightly. Her claws dug into the ground as she tried to get back up.

Whisperheart quickly jumped across the gorge in an amazing leap. He quickly leaned down and grabbed her by the nape of the neck pulling her up next to him.

Tigerlily was trembling as he pulled her back up. She sighed gratefully as she felt the ground again and laid there. "Thank you." She meowed shakily.

"Of course."Whisperheart jumped back over easily. He purred softly and groomed himself.

Tigerlily watched him and shakily got back to her paws and leaned against the wall. She nodded towards Whisperheart and then sighed as she regained her balance.

Whisperheart looked over at her." Anytime you need me..you know where I am."he smiled at her his eyes softening.

Tigerlily nodded. "Thanks again." She meowed gratefully before padding slowly towards camp. She practically hugged the walls of the gorge, terrified of falling again.
