Although Derek himself is a risk-taker, he won't pressure anyone into doing them something they don't want, and is very understanding of the people he meets. He's able to connect with others well, and is generally considered a good friend.

History: Derek's family were heavy drinkers and smokers, which was probably why he completely ignored the warnings given by every health teacher he'd ever had and tried smoking anyways. He realized only after he'd gotten hooked what a terrible effect it could have on his well-being, and what an awful influence his family had been on him. When it came time to apply for college, he made sure his choices were far away. Thanks to his great track record, he was accepted. Derek has been working hard to quit his smoking and focus on his studies, but continually struggles. However, he continues to maintain a happy facade and stay a strong friend.

Sorry, I didn't see this because I am complete and utter failure. Thankfully, I have Gabbu to remind me of my civic duties. Changing the picture would probably be a smart move, and I couldn't care less about the personality or whatever.

While I appreciate your effort on the character (and I know it's just a work-in-progress), as mentioned in Elf's Context thread under the era of 1823, women during this time didn't have jobs and, for the most part, were widely uneducated. This would make the possibility of a female librarian next to none.

Florianne grew up in her sister's shadow. She could never outperform her sister in school, only in other activities was she able to do so. As such, she flirted excessively in her teen years. When her sister got into drugs and lost her position, she was overjoyed until one day, her sister just disappeared. She then was possessed with anger for her sister for her disappearance.
