To Be Taught, If Fortunate by Becky Chambers
oh my gosh. This story is amazing. and intense. I love everything BC does, and this novella only raises the bar!
Saturday: 28 pages + 35 pages
Finished To Be Taught... It was emotionally draining, and I had to have something light and fluffy, to balance things out...
My Family and Other Animals Yep, perfect! Mildly amusing, but keepin' it real as befitting a book about interacting with wildlife.
Sunday: 11 pages
Ha, busy with other things. And started noticing a rather misogynistic view, even with the animals. Yeah, I get it, the book was written in a different age... but it's still off-putting how the women are all incompetent and the female animals are "evil" and need to be punished (poor tortoise :( )

*An easy way to keep track is using the Currently Reading feature on Goodreads, entering your page number at the end of each day. **For those who read by eReader, take the page number which shows for paperback/hardcover here on Goodreads for your total. Calculate by percentage to work out your page number read.
***For audio listeners, check out how many pages the book has on Goodreads, then divide that number by how many CDs or hours it is to give you an idea of pages per time. Don't forget to post your totals of daily or full weekend tally on the thread.
