Fix YouSummary: Set in S1, 2, and 3. Based off of Coldplay’s song “Fix You.” Just a Daroline tribute.

It was a nebulous night, as Damon lay in bed at Caroline’s house with her after she’d been cured of Tyler’s bite.
“My dad hates me,” she sobbed.
He put an arm around her in comfort.

It was a dismal night, as Damon sat on the couch with Caroline, an arm around her in comfort.
“How come the guys I want, never want me? I try so hard, but I’m never the one,” she said. At this time, she and Damon weren’t together yet. They were just friends.

It was a dark night, as Damon walked down a hall at the Mystic High. He sensed a presence and turned around to see Caroline.
“I remember,” she said, and stepped forward towards him.
“That’s impossible. Unless you were turning into a…” He realized what was happening. She was turning into a vampire. Sometime after giving her his blood to save her life and now, she’d died.
She kicked him, sending him skidding across the hallway.
“You suck.”
He watched, as she left and then he got to his feet.

It was a dismal night in the hallway at the Mystic High, as she kicked Damon, making him fall to the floor and slide half way down the hall.
“I remember. Everything,” she informed him.
“That’s not possible. Unless you were turning into a…” he trailed off, everything clicking into place.
“You suck,” she said, before walking off.

After somewhat of a conversation, she grabbed a corsage, before throwing it at him, which hit him in the face and then fell to the floor at his feet.
“Get out of here, you lurker!” she blurted at him.
“Ouch,” he commented and gave a smile.

Caroline had just walked out of the bathroom with a towel around her waist to grab some clothes. She had just taken a shower, so it annoyed her when Damon walked in, closing the door behind himself.
“Damon! Towel! Knock!” she blurted loudly at him.
“Caroline, no one cares! No!” he blurted back, but not as loud as her. He didn’t care. He’d seen it all when she’d been human and he’d used her for fun until he’d gotten annoyed by her.
She stood there, unhappy at him.

It was a beautiful day, as Caroline walked over to Damon in the Mystic Grille. After being told that she agreed to help get Elena back, he looked at her.
“You. You hate me,” he stated.
She moved her head side to side and looked at the ceiling, as if debating on whether to agree or not.
“You once told me that calling me Satan was an insult to Satan,” he finished.
She looked at him.
“Well, nobody’s perfect.”
When he made a comment, clearly stating that he didn’t need or want her help, she gave a statement of her own.
“I can be unpredictable and incredibly reckless.”
“I don’t need this and I don’t need your help,” he said to her, before walking off.
*The Last Day*

As soon as Tyler phased into a black werewolf, he lunged towards the nearest person without warning; Caroline. Knowing he couldn’t just stand by and watch her get attacked by a werewolf, he vamp-sped close enough to him and, with vamp strength, through him away from her and faced him. Then, before he knew it, he was on his back, the black wolf on top of him, trying to keep him from biting him, not wanting to get bitten by a wolf. Then Tyler got shot with tranquilizers from a gun and Damon was able to get to his feet.
She looked at him.
“Are you okay?” she asked. Even though she hated him, she didn’t want him bitten by a werewolf and dying, because he saved her life from a wolf. Although he was hated by her, she didn’t know what she’d do without him being in existence.
“I’m fine,” he replied and they headed out of the woods.

It was a beautiful day, as Damon lay on the ground, weak, after getting vervained and shot. Liz wanted to know how many other vampires were in Mystic Falls, but he wasn’t going to tell anyone. He was too stubborn. Even as a human, he’d never done as he was told.
Before she could shoot him once more, Caroline arrived, blurring all over the place, and had soon killed the officers with them. Then she stood in the shadows, out of her mother’s sight, until she’d calmed down. By doing all of that, she’d saved him from being killed.

It was a dismal night at the fair after she had turned and had recently killed a stranger. The others were still looking everywhere, but he’d found her in only a few minutes time.
They stood in front of each other.
“I don’t want to die,” she confessed.
He put gentle hands on either side of her head.
“You’re already dead,” he informed her.
“I can’t be,” she said, starting to get emotional again.
“Don’t worry. I can help you,” he assured her, and they hugged.

Damon and Caroline were in his bed, his arm around her in comfort, as she sobbed, saying, “My dad hates me.” She’d been through hell with her father trying to change her, so she wouldn’t have to live off of blood, not wanting to kill her for being a vampire.
He let her cry, knowing what it felt like to have your own father hate and despise you, no matter what you did.

It was a dismal night at the Salvatore boarding house in Damon’s room, as Damon lay in bed, dying of Tyler’s werewolf bite, Caroline seated on his bedside. She hated watching him dying, but she didn’t want him to die alone. She wished that the cure would come before it was too late, but she doubted it. He was so close to joining the Other Side, she knew.
“You would’ve liked me better in 1864,” he half-whispered, eyes closed.
“I like you now,” she replied.
Knowing he loved her and that he was close to death, she kissed him and then pulled away. She loved him too, but she didn’t want to due to the kind of person he was. A part of not wanting to love him was what he’d done to her when she’d been human. He was a bad person and she didn’t want to love someone like that.
“Thank…you,” he half-whispered.
“You’re welcome,” she replied.
After Katherine came into the room and cured him with a vial of Klaus’ blood, he survived, and Katherine left.
Unexpected Turn of LoveSummary: Set in S2. What if Caroline found out that Damon was bitten by Tyler? What will ensue? Will something more than friendship form between them?
It was a beautiful day, as Caroline Forbes walked into the Salvatore boarding house. She had just heard that Tyler had bitten Damon when Damon had jumped between them, saving Caroline from a phasing werewolf Tyler. Because he had saved her, he was suffering the consequences; a fatal consequence at that.
When she found him in the living room, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. He was willingly standing in the sun without his Daylight ring on. He was going to commit suicide by sunlight. She didn't want him to die in any way, shape, or form no matter what he'd done in the past and present. He didn't deserve this. And he sure as hell didn't get to die without a good-bye.
With vamp speed, she pushed him out of the sun, stopping him from killing himself.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" she yelled at him.
He looked at her from where he lay on the floor.
"What does it look like? I'm putting myself out of my misery, Blondie."
"I know you're in pain, but you don't get to do this to yourself."
That night, she sat on his bedside, as he lay in bed, dying of the werewolf bite, him a few minutes from joining the Other Side.
A few moments later, his sire soon arrived with the cure in hand.
A few minutes after his sire, Katherine, had given him the cure, he began to feel better. That made Caroline glad. She was happy that she didn't have to watch him die any time soon. Even if she did hate him at certain times. For some reason, she couldn't imagine a world without Damon Salvatore. That's when she realized something. She had feelings for him and it wasn't hate, despisement, or loathing. It was the complete opposite. She knew this feeling. She had had this feeling more than once as a human. She, Caroline Forbes, was falling in love with Damon Salvatore.
Since he was feeling better and wasn't dying any longer, she left to go home.
A few months later, after certain events, they had both fallen for each other and were a couple. And so, their story continued.

It was a dismal night, as Caroline, a newly turned vampire, sat on a picnic table after accidentally killing some stranger. It had been an accident and she didn’t even know what was happening to her and it scared her.
Damon arrived to see her sobbing there, and brushed her hair out of her face, being kind to her for once in his life.
“I killed him. What’s happening to me?”
“Don’t worry. I can help you,” he assured her.
“You can?”
“Yes,” he replied.
Later, he told her what was happening to her and he tutored her in vampirism 101, helping her to control her vampirism nature.

It was a nebulous night, as Damon walked through the woods. He was heading in the direction to leave the woods, when he heard a commotion between Caroline and Tyler.
“Did you just bite me!?” she yelled at Tyler.
Tyler attempted to go over and help her, but she yelled at him again.
“Get away from me!”
He backed off and left, even though he didn’t want to.
Damon appeared and decided to help her out, so he took her to the boarding house to his room and called Klaus to cure her, in which Klaus cured her, so she lived.

Caroline was in a room getting ready for the annual Miss Mystic Falls at the Lockwood place upstairs. She saw Damon when she turned around. She grabbed a corsage and threw it at him. It hit him in the face, before landing on the floor.

It was a beautiful day, as Caroline was about to grab some clothes by her bed, having taken a shower. She turned around when she heard the door close, only to see the Salvatore she despised and hated.

It was a beautiful day, as Damon stood by the dresser after he’d given Caroline a joy ride and then had fed on her. Now she was acting out, remembering what he’d done to her.
“Ah, ah, ah,” Damon said when she grabbed the lamp and threw it at him, which hit the wall beside him.
She threw the pillow at him which, unbeknownst to her, still had some of her blood on it.
“Leave me alone!” she yelled at him.
He smelled the pillow and then looked at her.
“You know, this could’ve gone in a completely different way.”
He vamped out and walked towards the bed where she was still sitting in.

It was a dark night, as Damon stood in the hallway of the school not far from where she stood.
“I remember. Everything.”
“That’s impossible. Unless you were turning into a…”
She kicked him across the hallway.
“You suck.”
Summary: Set in S1E “Let the Right One In” when Caroline had car troubles in the woods when a storm hit. Let’s pretend she’s a vampire in the ep, and Damon isn’t the bad guy.
It was a dark night in Mystic Falls in the woods, as the rainstorm continued to rage on. And as it did, Caroline Forbes continued walking, hoping to be able to make it out of the woods. She was having a bad night so far. Her car was stuck in mud and her phone didn’t have any reception.
Suddenly, she fell down the river bank, not seeing the bank, but managed to get back on land. This just wasn’t her night.
Just then, she saw something in the shadows, so she stopped to look. It moved forwards and she realized that it was a werewolf. That’s when she ran as fast as she could. Though it gave chase, she eventually lost it.
When she was almost to the edge of the woods, she ran into Damon, who was also heading home.
“What happened to you, Blondie?”
“Just a bad night,” she replied, Damon being the last person she wanted to talk to.
“Then let’s go home,” he replied.
She agreed and let him take her home.
