September Challenge 1/9/19 - 30/9/19

The other day I went into my library and was delighted to see it buzzing with people and activities and beautiful displays of books. I thought about how lucky we are to have such a wonderful resource.
So this month let's celebrate our local libraries.

You can choose to read 4 books (at least one Aussie) or 8 books (at least two Aussies) from the following list.

Remember all books must meet our group guidelines HERE

1. This one is too easy! Read a book you have borrowed from the library.

2. There are libraries all over the world! Read a book set in another country than your own.

3. Every book you can imagine is in a library somewhere. Read a book from your favourite genre.

4. Does your library arrange its fiction from A - Z? Read a book where the author or title starts with an A.

5. Does your library organise authors to visit and give talks? Read a book by a favourite author.

6. My library let's me borrow up to 10 books at a time. Read the tenth book on your TBR list.

7. Libraries have been in existence for centuries. Read a book from the genre of Historical Fiction.

8. Best of all libraries provide a welcoming place for everyone who likes a good book, just like our groups here on Goodreads. In memory of our friend and Aussie Readers member Kim-Marie we would like you to read a book with a red cover (her favourite colour)

I wasn't sure from the guidelines, but are we allowed to do a "challenge within a challenge"? I'm already in the Spring Challenge, and would incorporate 8 of those books into my list for September. If not allowed, I will sit this one out, as I'm on a deadline for two annual challenges I'm trying to finish - 30 books to go! If it's okay to combine, my books for September would be:

#1 From the Library - When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi (20/9) 5*

#2 Set in another Country - Tell Me You're Mine: The chilling international bestseller by Elisabeth Noreback (set in Sweden) (22/9) 4*

#8 Red cover - In memory of Kim - Marie ♥ The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion AA (18/9) 4*

Sarah, always try to fit as many books as you can into multiple challenges. That's how you cover lots of challenges. You might find one book you read is in 3 or 4 different ones. It's called reading smarter, not harder ;) Happy reading!
