I've finished The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis for Round 1 - Read a book with an animal on the cover.

I've finished my round 1 toppler read: Tide Road by Valerie Compton - Read a book set in or near a national park. In this case, Prince Edward Island National Park.

I finished Not a Drop to Drink for Round One - read YA.

Finished We Have Always Lived in the Castle for round 2 - read a classic (or one you think should be).

First book done. The Lady and the Unicorn. Off for book 2, pre-electricity. The Apothecary's Daughter

Just finished my 2nd book, Captain Blood by Rafael Sabatini. Jaxnsmom said we didn't need to read in order, and this is for my Round 6 Task - Transportation. The only method of transportation mentioned in the book were sailing ships on the seas.

I've finished my 3rd book, The Painted Veil by W. Somerset Maugham. This is for my Round 5 task - Free Parking, for which I could read any book of my choice.

It is sooo good to be home. And thank you to all who sent best wishes for Mom's recovery. She is an amazing lady.

Anyway, I have finished:

Round 6 - read a horror book The Thing from the Lake

and I'm on page 113 of Life of Pi for Round 3's Man Booker Prize. Hopefully I'll finish it tonight.

I've finished my 1st round book, Fire's Tender Kiss, for the embarrassing cover task. I made sure I was seen reading it. My daughter saw me at the house, and I went out for lunch today and read it while eating. Jmom has mentioned something about possible bonus points and I thought this might be a task that she could give points for. Anyway, just speculating. On to round #2.

Add more for my second round completion - I finished The Translator for "Hidden Gem". It now has 503 ratings. Mine was a 5 star.

I've finished my 4th book, The Virgin and the Gipsy by D.H. Lawrence. This is for my Round 8 task, Short Line - books 150-200 pages.

I finished Round 2's Life of Pi. I'm not sure if I enjoyed it. A interesting book.

Finished book 2 The Apothecary's Daughter. In a word Beautiful. Need to roll now wasn't sure how may books I'd be able to do but should be able to squeeze in another one

Third book done! Read a genre you have not read before...... Manga. Clockwork Angel 240 pages, now next roll gets me to square 25, sci-fi. Doctor Who - The Clockwise Man, love a bit of Doctor Who

Finished my 5th book, La Dame aux Camélias by Alexandre Dumas fils. This is for Round 4 - Romance.

I've finished my Round 5 task. I had planned in reading Ice, but I read Snowbound instead.

I also rolled a couple more times.

My first roll was 17. That takes me from Walker Horde (4) to Labrador Retriever. I will read The 101 Dalmatians.

My second roll was 37. That puts me on Kew Palace. I will read Jane and the Madness of Lord Byron.

Finished i think my task 3 Howliday Inn. A little embarrassed I couldn't solve the mystery on my own. Probably read this 25 years ago

I've finished Sprinkle with Murder for my Round 4 task. I don't know if I was wrong mood or what, but I didn't enjoy it at all.

I finished Guilty Pleasures this morning (already recorded) and The Sandcastle Girls this afternoon.
