First impressions

Just finished the first part of it and I was really into it right from the first story. Unfortunately I had to deal with the fact then, that this isn't a novel, but a intertwined short story collection. I hadn't noticed that before (or forgot about it?), so I was looking forward to keep company with these girls and was a bit confused first, when I moved on. But I'm now enjoying it nevertheless and I'm really looling forward to find out more about all the inhabitants of this street. I'm glad that this was the pick for the bookclub, because I would never have heard about this book otherwise.

I just started it tonight. If it continues in the same vein that it's started I think I'm going to like it. Stay tuned...
