N.B. (nbroberts) | 17 comments Thanks for this recommendation, Amz!

I have to say, I don’t usually pick up contemporary books with such a disturbing premise, but the cover and the psychological aspect really grabbed me. I can see that your friend hasn’t gotten much attention for it too, which is sad because they have clearly worked hard on it; I read the sample on Amazon and I just had to have it. I’m really enjoying it so far and will give your friend a review soon. Thanks again!

Lily Vagabond (lilyauthor) I love horror, but when I took a look at the Amazon preview, the first person narrative was off-putting to me. But, in all fairness, it's not clear to me whether this is suppposed to be YA or adult fiction. So, anyone want to clarify that for me?

Christie Stratos (christiestratos) This is right up alley! Thanks for introducing us to it!

Yeah, not everyone likes first person, but I do love how this one is all in present-tense. That makes it slightly different and I felt pulled into the story straight away.
I'm actually not sure what is OK for YA now? The F-word is used throughout, so personally I would say it is Adult/New Adult. There are disturbing depictions of dismembered bodies and stuff, but I'm not sure if that would be too much for Y/A. What would you say?

Christie - excellent! Hope you enjoy it :)

Lily Vagabond (lilyauthor) Ah, NA, that would explain it, thanks!

N.B. (nbroberts) | 17 comments Great! I'll shelve it then as NA. Thanks
