Hi I’m Madison. My human had recently lost Samantha to breast cancer and was sad. Samantha contacted me so I knew I needed to adopt her. I sent out m strongest kitty vibes that drove her to visit me in pet shop charities. She’s a little slow so she met me, but left without me. I haunted her dreams that night to force her to come get me. Of corse, I told her how stupid I knew she was for leaving me that first day with my best scornful look over my shoulder as I walked into the carrier unaided
Tire and Salma, we are the reading companions of Peter (or his wife or his son). Our preferred reading spot is on the bed streched alongside or on top of our master (or slave - roles sometime switch in this home), preferred time is Saturday morning, which sometimes my extend to 2 pm.We like most light books (paperbacks) or Kindle, so that our caretaker has one hand free to stroke us. Best if it is captivating so there the reader forgets about househould chores and other obligations. Novels fit best this category - though we sometime like also lyrics if they are read aloud - both contemporary and classics. We absolutely hate if our human reads books about art, which he sometimes does, because those have big formats and occupy lap and both hands of him. Hardcover books have one advantage though, you can rub your head against the edge and corner and mark it as yours.
I am Minou and living with my humans is great. I am big girl and my female human lifts on to her bed when I have issues. But I don't understand why she does it sometimes and not at others. Isn't everybody awake at 5:30 in the morning?I do love sleeping spread out on the bed for most of the day, and if that bed is occupied, there is always the spare room.

That is a sweet story. I believe all cats go to heaven. The first cat I had when I was 9 died young but I still remember him. I didn’t have another cat until Romeo 11 years ago and now I know I will always have cats.

That all sounds very familiar. Those big books are only good for laying on 🙂

She likes classic fiction, mysteries and some contemporary. I love library books as they smell wonderful, especially when my carer cleans them with a disinfectant wipe before letting me near them. My excitement level goes right up then. Anyhow, got to go, I see dinner is ready.
