In what ways did you identify with the mother/daughter struggles in the book between Shoko and Sue?

My Mom and I were very close friends, but we could fight with the best of them. I saw some interesting dynamics between these two also. Her health was a big one, and taking care of her. Throw the father in and I could see my family in so many ways. I really liked the two women. The humaness of them made for an interesting read and dynamic as I was reading the book. There were segments (most) that I read twice so that I would fully get it. Overall I liked it quite a lot.
