This isn't a question, but it's something that needs to be said. Anna Todd is a disgrace to the One Direction fandom. Why, out of all the great fan fictions on Wattpad, did her fanfic become an actual book and movie? This book is a horrible thing. It shouldn't be sold anywhere. It should stay where it is from, Wattpad. She has written this horrific story and is a fake fan for thinking this won't hurt Harry's career. I am so done with 'Afternator's' or whatever they're called. They always have the same excuse, and they are completely lame excuses. I have made my point. Goodbye.

i, of course, don't like one direction. though, if there is something well-written, i am glad to read it, regardless of harry styles being the main character or no. you see, some of my favorite authors are fan fiction writers. i don't know if you know this person, but JeddieJay, or Jayme Dray, on Wattpad, is also an avid fan fiction writer, but it's of larry stylinson, which is louis and harry shipped together. he hates after, also, but his books...they are literally brilliance. why are his not being published, you might ask? why is "confessions of a gay disney prince" not being sold in bookstores everywhere?
oh, now i remember. because it doesn't have a billion views.
i also like the author of "baby doll" and "hidden." there are definitely some fantastic fanfictions on wattpad, but after is definitely not one of them.

When I read this book I did not agree with the way Hardin and Tessa's relationship with one another was. It was far too back and forth, but regardless of it being One Direction fan fiction (which I did not realise it was until after the first book) you have to separate it from that now. There are many differences now and while you may not think it is great, the publishers obviously thought it was worthwhile and that is why it was published. It will not affect Harry's career as he is an international superstar and it would take more than this to destroy that image. If you wrote something and were proud of it and it ended up being published you would hope that negative comments would not be brought into your work too often, so be positive about it and feel happy with yourself for expressing your opinion that you did not like it and are sticking to that, but don't down it too hard in case some readers enjoy thoroughly :)
