Leave your thoughts about Paper Towns as you are reading. Just make sure to say which chapter you're on so that there are no spoilers.

Part 2 Chapter 8 (page 136 hardcover)
Really like Q and the boys.
Great dialogue. You can hear the boy saying it.
I just want to keep reading and solve this thing. Alas, I have to get out of bed. Lol

Mia (miapea) | 359 comments I'm only on page 3 right now. Love that Jefferson Jefferson change his name to Dr.! LOL

Mia (miapea) | 359 comments Great line in this book is on page 38: "those of us who frequent the band room have long suspected that Becca maintains her lovely figure by eating nothing but the soulsof kittens and the dreams of impoverished children"

John Green has some great lines.

Mia (miapea) | 359 comments Finished. It kept me going and interested but the vague teen philosophizing at the end bored and lost me. It fizzled for me, after a good buildup.

Totally agree, Mia!
Enjoyable read but I did not connect with the overall story.

Kai Hunter | 192 comments Part 2 Chapter 2 just got my ecopy from the library. I really enjoyed part one. the charecters were believable and the interactions were real. I find myself actively looking Q and his friends while I feel bad for Margo the way a band geek feels sorry for the misfiring of the head cheer leader.

Kai Hunter | 192 comments Finished. A very compelling read. When i wasn't reading it i was thinking about it. i saw the end as Q choosing to mature and do what is expected of him over Margo's need to find what's missing inside her. it reminds me of one of my favorite Facebook posts: I've wanted to run away far more as an adult than as a child! what touched me the most is that Margo had someone who thought she was worth going after. it was a good beach read. glad we read it.

Mia (miapea) | 359 comments Yeah - good beach read! Alas, I read it mainly on rainy days in NYC. LOL

Kai Hunter | 192 comments it was my first beach trip. I read 4 books and drank many more margaritas. :)

Carly Svamvour (faganlady) | 32 comments Chapter 1 ... I guess - I'm doing it on audio.

Do kids really talk that way, these days?

Carly Svamvour (faganlady) | 32 comments Chapter 10 ... so they are going through that place trying to follow clues she left - might have left ...

He phones the detective - if she wanted you to find her, you already would have ... ok
