The Selection Roleplay discussion

This is the room of the palace where parties and dancing happens. Important events can happen here, and daily events can happen as well.

Alexandria went into the ball room to practice dancing with - oh - just herself.

She smoothed out her gown, and began to dance slowly, but she gradually went faster and faster. After all, Alexandria needed to have all of her skills perfected for when the selected girls come.

Liam strolled into the ballroom and sat down in one of the comfy chairs in a corner, near the roaring fireplace. He sighed happily, finally alone. It wasn't that he disliked the selected. He actually quite enjoyed their company-but only for some time. He was overwhelmed. They had just gotten here days ago, and he was already forced to meet with many of them. Not to mention that Liam could bump into them at any point in time, seeing as they were just strolling around his house as if they knew it would be their's also soon.

Collette walked into the ballroom sort of hoping to ne alone. She knew she shouldn't feel that but sometimes being alone just felt right. Collette glanced up at chandelier hanging from the ceiling and imagined it swinging back in forth for some strange reason.

Liam sat, staring at the fireplace, lost in thought. When Colette walked in, he didn't even realize someone was there, because he was turned halfway away from the door. He heard light footsteps, though, and sighed. Sinning lower in his chair, he hoped to stay unnoticed because all he wanted right now was peace and quiet.

Collette sat a small table, ironically on the ither side if the room from Liam, who she hadn't seen. She closed her eyes hoping to just sit there for an hour or two and rest, lose herself in a daydream perhaps.

After a few minutes, Liam assumed she had left, so he sat back up in his chair. If you were in the room now, you would've been able to see him, though he knew no one else could've been in there. He once again stared at the fireplace, watching as the flames cracked.

Collette opened ine eyes and her gaze moved to the other side of the ballroom. She saw the top of someone looking at the fireplace, the prince no doubt. Collette sigjed quietly and closed her eyes again, settling back in her chair. There were some days that even the people she could understand, she didn't feel up to a lot of conversation.

Isabelle walked into the ballroom sneakily with her stuffed bear under her arm waiting to see if someone would come in. She waited a moment then walked into the ballroom. Isabelle was going to practice the waltz just in case of a party. "And one, two, three. One, two, three..."

((May I join? I haven't been on in a while))

((Sure. I haven't been on in a while either))

Collette strolled into the ballroom, needing to get out of her room for a while. Her long brown hair was out and undone, reaching the small of her back. She wore a simple lacy dress and some earnings to match and simple flats. Collette didn't find much of an effort in her to be fancy today. Perhaps it was the weather. As Collette pondered over this she noticed there was someone else in the ballroom, a girl dancing with a bear. The view brought a small smile to her face.

"One, two, three-" just then Isabelle tripped on her dress and fell on the floor.

Collette gasped and hurried over to help the girl up. "Oh my goodness, are you alright? Are you hurt?" she asked worriedly as she tried to help the fallen girl up.

Isabelle got up with the help of Collete (?). "I'm totally fine. Thanks for asking." She cracked her back and walked to a nearby chair and sat in it, flattening out her long light green dress.

Collette felt a little insecure after that shuffled her feet a bit as she watched the girl walk away and sit in the chair.

"Arent you coming?" Isabelle asked Collette

"O-Oh" Collette stuttered a bit, walking over to a chair near the girl. "I'm sorry for walking in on you without notice. What's your name?"

"I'm Isabelle. Isabelle Greene. And you are?" She asked.

"Collette Cindra" she replied with a polite smile

"Nice to meet you Collette. Isn't this castle wonderful? I especially like the Prince."

"The castle is very lovely. And the prince is very nice" at this point Collette thinking of when she first met him. Since then, she felt he wasn't very fond of this while selection business. But that wasn't much for her to worry about.

"the garden is very lovely." Isabelle was thinking of all the flowers and ladybug homes she built.

"I've only ever been in the garden once. I do agree though that it's a very nice place. So, where are you from?"

"Caste Three in New York((?)). Where are you from?" she asked.

((look at my groups it is the one with two members. It was started today by my sister))

"Caste two, Maryland ((lol just make stuff up))" she replied with a small nodd.
"I've always wanted to go to New York. Is it nice living there?"

((Oh, I'll check the group out then))

"Its kind of polluted but if you look in the right places, there are some genuine people. Whats it like in Maryland? Any crushes back home?" Isabelle asked

"There's a lot of farmland and beautiful hilled plains. Some cities too, but overall it's a peaceful place." Collette said. She dodged the last question about the crushes. In the selection you weren't supposed to feel romantically about anyone except the prince, so she wasn't sure if this was a trick. But then again, someone had come to Collette's mind...

Isabelle noticed Collette didnt anwser the last question but didnt push. "So, made any friends?"

"Yes, but only a few. I haven't met all of the Selection girls yet. What about you?"

"I haven't met a lot of people. I stay here in the ballroom practicing dancing most of the time.I was studying to be a veterinarian before coming here." Isabelle was thinking of her studies.
