Since we're doing Swoon Fest this month we won't be discussing any one book. I still thought it'd be fun to have a place where we could discuss the McClure books we are reading though. Today I'm going to read The Whispered Kiss. It's been a couple years since I've read this one and I'm excited to read it again.

Tori (Book Chick) (bookchicktori) I just reread The Whispered Kiss!! :)I prefer her western romances more than her regency, but The Whispered Kiss is fantastic. :)
Last night (and this morning) I read The Prairie Prince. I had forgotten how much I liked that book. It's short, but so hot. I didn't know about Swoon fest until right before October and I had already started a MLM reread in September. Her books are just so fun!
I have several coming from the library that I haven't read- all contemporary. I've only read a couple of her contemporary books, but I'm trying to expand my horizons. ;)

Kim | 207 comments I really liked The Whispered Kiss as it followed the framework of the original Beauty and the Beast, but in an Regency era setting with an ultra gorgeous beast that was an beast on the inside instead. I am only into the 2nd chapter of The Visions of Ransom Lake and it seems the opposite with the hero looking like a beast at the beginning of this one with his long hair, long beard, and ripped ragged clothing. I, like the heroine Vaden, am very curious to have the answers to this mystery. Looks to be another great read with the beauty healing the beast? Thanks again Kathy for doing the Marcia Lynn McClure Swoon Fest and introducing me to an new clean romance author.

You're welcome Kim, I'm just happy you're enjoying her books. It seems like Ransom Lake is one of her most popular books, so I hope you enjoy it. It's definitely in my top ten favorites. I also loved Whispered Kiss and how it kind of stuck to the original fairy tale. She has three books that are retellings and a couple that are similar (like Ransom and Divine Deception). Midnight Masquerade is a retelling of the Twelve Dancing Princesses, at the end she mentions plans to write more fairytale retellings. :)

Teya Teya | 68 comments I love the fairytale retelling. I'm rereading the whispered kiss. I'm smiling this time around because I've read it and know what's going on. Aaahhhh
