I'll be hosting all the challenges this year. There will be five with a joint giveaway. The first one is on day two and will go live with day one's update on my blog. Let me know if you have any questions.

#1: Random Page Challenge
The challenge is to grab a book, flip to a random page, and share a sentence from that page.
I decided on Dark Justice by Brandilyn Collins and used the randimiser for the page #.
#268: He clamped a hand over her mouth. In no time she disappeared into the van. Emily ran toward her. “Nno—!”
#2: Favorite Author Challenge
Today you need to pick a favorite author to share with everyone.
I have a huge # of favorite authors as well, so it's a tricky one though the first name that came into my mind after reading this question was Lynette Eason
#3: Duo Color Challenge
For this challenge, pick two colors of books (covers or without their covers) and using at least four books (two of each color) either take a picture of them to share or list them
That's a difficult one again. My favorite colors are blue (any shade), white, lilac/light violet (in German and Polish there's no difference in name for these two color groups), pink (the cool lighter tones) & cool mint

#4: First Line Challenge
This is another super easy challenge (we need our free time to read, right?). The challenge is to grab whatever you're reading (or just a random book) and share the very first line.
Georgiana Darcy's Diary: Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice Continued by Anna Elliott:
Of all the wonderful secondary characters in Pride and Prejudice, Georgiana Darcy has always been my favorite. (Author's Note - loc. 27)
At least I was not in love with Mr. Edgeware. (First diary entry - there are not chapters in this book but dates of a diary entry - page 1/loc. 43)
#5: Favorite Genre Challenge
For this challenge just share a favorite genre. It doesn't have to be the favorite if you have more than one. You can take a picture of a book or multiple books showcasing the genre or just share the genre, so this one leaves room for some creativity or to just be quick and simple.
Another tricky one since I have two favorite Genres: romantic suspense (RS) & fun cozy mysteries though if I had to pick one it would be at most times RS.
And here some of my favorite Christian RS (5* & 6* only) - most of them are contemporary but the two historical (the last two) are real gems:

Literal translations for German titles:
* Storm in Paradise
** Freedom in the Heart

1. Random Page Challenge
Dear Samantha,
Please consider carefully. You have lauded our "soul-purging-one-sided-relationship" many times. If I reply to your letters, that will change.
~ Dear Mr. Knightley by Katherine Reay (pg. 153)
I've gotta say - I've never read this book, but I'm highly intrigued by this excerpt. I have to read this soon!
2. Favorite Author Challenge
There's so many I love, but based on the fact that I've read the most from this author - it's Denise Hunter.
3. Duo Color Challenge

4. First Line Challenge
We rarely know when death will come.
~ Life After by Katie Ganshert
5. Favorite Genre Challenge
My favorite genres: Romantic Contemporary, YA and Historical Romance.
