Holes is a popular novel written by Louis Sachar that focuses on a group of kids at a camp for delinquent youth.

Holes was one of my favorite seventh grade reads. I did not like my reading teacher, but I loved that we read this book. I have a copy of it somewhere, so I know I'll be re-reading it soon.

I think I was grade 6 when I tried to read this book. My brother recommended it to me but I got so confused when the story would swap from the past and present. I had to watch the movie first then I was able to understand what was happening in the book.

I've never read this book but I like the sound of the concept so I want to someday. ;)

OMG. Daisy, it is one of my favorites. And if I may, I suggest watching the movie too. It's really good too. :)
