What's your rebound book?

Yeah, there is no such thing as a rebound book from the Fever Series! lol. But here are some other good series with great romance I really enjoyed and would recommend: Magic Bites
Daughter of the Forest
Fortune's Pawn
Mind Games
Prince of Hearts
Ooooh, erm. The book that was my rebound book after reading Fever was the Shifter series by Rachel Vincent.Completely different setting, a story about werecats set in a contemporary but kind of country/ranch scenario. But, it has the snark and the sarcasm, the chemistry, the excitement that I loved about the Fever series.
It's nothing like it, but it's my kinda story. And it was different enough I forgot abotu Fever, but has the same kind of elements of chemistry and supernatural stuff that it gave me the same kind of excitement :)
I totally agree with your Little Feather, there is no rebound from Fever for me. It remains to be my all-time ultimate favorite. But my second favorite which did really get me going again was the Kate Daniels Series!
Yeah, Kate Daniels is so great because it has a kick-butt heroine, it's action-packed, and the romance takes quite a few books to unfold (like in Fever). Those are all the same reasons why I like the Paradox Series too (Fortune's Pawn).
My rebound book all those years ago was the Night Huntress series. It's has a similar urban fantasy vibe. And it has a slow burn romance that also involves hunting supernatural creatures (except they are vampires not fae). Night Huntress was what cured my hangover from the Fever series!

The tone is very similar to Darkfever as well with Bones playing a tutor sort of figure to Cat and the both of them working together to hunt.
Another one that helped me after Fever was King's by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. We've got the sassy blonde heroine looking for a lost sibling, going to a "guy who can find anything" for help. She has magical "seer" abilities that help her see through the layers of normalcy. The guy is a suit wearing, arrogant, and cruel asshole, who engages her with antagonistic banter. And he's looking for a powerful artifact that he uses her to find, in exchange for help finding her brother.
King is very similar to Barrons in attitude and the dynamic with Mia reminded me heavily of good ole Barrons and Mac banter. That's where the similarities between the series kind of end because the King trilogy is about something totally different. But I read King's as I was nearing the end of the Fever books and felt like I'd magically stumbled upon some professionally written, thinly veiled fanfiction. XD no discredit to Pamfiloff who is an awesome writer.
