Yvonne Carmichael is a geneticist, a scientist renowned in her field but one day, she makes the most irrational of decisions. Kate, this book is good, but it is so realistic, it is scary - I was reading on the bus going home tonight and by the time I got off, it was dark and I had to walk down a little road near the woods to get to my car. I heard someone walking behind me and didn't think anything of it, then remembered reading that after the experience she had, the woman in the book said that now, she was not afraid of bad guy's, but of the average, seemingly normal co worker or neighbor....
