Alex Lee I am new to Our Shared Shelf and I don't know if we've read this already. But if we haven't,

I Am Malala: The Story of the Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban
by Malala Yousafzai, Christina Lamb

would be a great book to read at some point!

Sarah Picard | 1 comments I want to add to this list two masterpieces written by Mary Wollstonecraft:
- vindication of the Rights of Men (1790)
- vindication of the Rights of Women. (1792).

She is known as one of the founding feminist philosophers. I studied her books last years and they were inspiring!
