I know it's not a book but anyone else enjoys this comic strip?

I love Calvin and Hobbes. It's such a treasure. I also admire Bill Watterson's decision against merchandising because he felt it would betray the spirit of the comic. You don't see this kind of artistic integrity anymore, I reckon *cough Harry Potter shower curtain cough*

Fyi, Amazon has published the e-book version of some of the books and they're pretty neat. Even though it's always bitter sweet when reading the last strip.

It's great the way it gives us (well, me at least) the feeling that they're still continuing their daily adventures even if the comic strip has ended.

calvin and hobbes introduced a slight vision of philosophy to me. I think Bill Watterson is secretly a genius.

I also admire his truthfulness to his art. I mean he's quitting billion dollar business (they say CH was huge) and start painting.

I was introduced to calvin and hobbes in 1993. My husband began reading them too in 1997. About 3 years ago may daughters started to laugh on the strip on my laptop. So now my whole family could sit together and laughing at Calvin's incredulity.
