The Red Desert mostly consists of red/green ground and bare trees, the Red Desert is a treacherous place filled with the lurking monsters of Wonderland. It is also considered the most dangerous place in Wonderland.

Lord Warlock (lordwarlock) | 146 comments Asp smiled at the hot sand searing beneath her feet. A slight, humid breeze blew her hair backwards. She had never found heat to bother all that much although she preferred the cold. The snake that had wrapped around her ankle gave a warning hiss, and lifting the hem of her amber dress she let it slither out into the sand. She looked over as the snake drew attention to a figure in the distance.

Curious as always, the witch of many poisons made her way over to the stumbling figure to see that it was a young person. A young girl. Her hair had clearly been cut in such a fashion that said it had previously long, and despite her admirable efforts, her eyes alone shone in a way only a girl's can. Granted, she would have fooled most, but the Asp was not most. It all begged the question: what the hell was she doing in the Red Desert?

"What brings you to Red Territory, boy?" she called, tossing strawberry blonde hair over her deliberately bare shoulders. Her new friend slithered back beneath her skirts and around her ankles, clearly forgetting any threat that might have been posed.

Lord Warlock (lordwarlock) | 146 comments "I have wine," answered the assassin, holding out a wine skin and waiting for her to come and take it, "You look old enough to drink it." Asp liked wine, it was easier to conceal poison in, not that this wine had been polluted in any way, which was a shame. Her immunity to poisons allowed her to drink it and delight at the burning in her chest, but she had a straight wine just in case a situation called for it, which he did. Asp would not poison this girl, she was far too curious, and interested in what she had to say.

But the girl was no fool, and had chosen to hold her tongue. So naturally, she had to try and coax it out of her. "I was just coming from visiting an acquaintance from the Red Kingdom, but have no fear boy, I pledge fealty to neither of the two great kingdoms, and may I advise you do the same. The White Kingdoms are reliable but weak, and the Reds are strong, but unpredictable. Fight for your own side. And don't wander so dangerously again. Foolish boy."

She smiled. "And the snake is my friend. All snakes are friends - oh, and you'd be better off turning around, civilisation is closer the way you came than the way I came." This girl wouldn't survive, but at least she could die intoxicated.

Lord Warlock (lordwarlock) | 146 comments She laughed loudly, her glorious giggle resonating across the desert. Perhaps this girl had more wits than she had anticipated. At any rate, she had been clever enough to know a witch when she saw one.

No... This girl would not die. She could tell now, as she stormed away, audacious and stubborn, that she would cause ripples in Wonderland. There were rumours of Humans once again falling into Wonderland, but they were not the issue.

Asp smiled, and turned around, walking towards the sun.
