Adam (aaddaamm) | 2 comments Will you drink with me today?

I will drink, and drink, and drink of yesterday.

Heads of the meadow bowed by heavy rain,

sway right and left under skies running

with darkened, threshing storms.

Shaken blooms hold on,

and drink, drink of yesterday.

One ideal has leapt into a simple vase

reaching for a baby blue sky.

Paint there pure cloud profoundly still,

and stars, shooting stars,

a rainbow- an echo, and oh the rain.
