So wanna start at like a beach or something?

The waves in California were her favorite, watching people surf was her favorite thing. She used to surf before she saw it as uncool and not part of the 'popular' crowd. She walked along the boardwalk making her way to her favorite spot on the beach

Hayzel squinted in the remaining sunlight as she walked down the steps her feet sinking into the sand. She looked around seeing someone looking at her. She was used to it she got looks all the time, it wasn't everyday that you saw a pretty blonde that was 5'8 without heels on. She gave him a small inviting smile as she continued to walk.

Landon was jogging away from the beach volleyball court they had just gotten installed at the main beach for the tourists which the locals often used. He turned to insult one of his buddies but he turned around to slow tripping over a pretty girl with a mint bikini on. "Ouff" he said as he went crashing down

She smiled back at him looking him over, not bad at all. He looked like the surfer type with his blonde hair but she was totally digging it. She pushed her hair behind her ear, "Hey" his smile was killer!

He laughed at himself taking her hand, man was he dumb or what. He took her hand then brushed the sand off his chest his tattoos now showing. "I'm fine,it's just you know it was hard not to fall for someone that looks like you." He winked at her, how could he not give it a try right?

She laughed softly "why aren't you the charmer?" She watched him running his hand through his hair then answered him "I was actually coming to meet some friends but they can always wait." She bit her lip and looked at him before she looked at the horizon.

"Lets just be thankful i saw you with sand around and not concrete, that would've hurt." He chuckled his nose crinkling as he did. "And i would've had to take you for dinner for the fall being at such an inconvenient place." He added cooly

She looked back at him and shrugged a sly smile on her face "I mean why go if you aren't going to make a spectacular entrance?"

He smiled his eyebrows raising "That would be pretty great, i always wanted to call my parents up and tell them i finally have a date with a beautiful stranger." He joked winking at her.

She batted her green eyes she tried not to make it too noticeable, "Well arriving late and with a guy on your arm would definitely be spectacular for a small bonfire in celebration of my own birthday party." She hoped he got the hint.

He shook his head "No no, the offer stands this outing has to happen." he looked her over then looked into her eyes "You wouldn't want to break my heart by taking it back would you?"

She smiled shifting her weight from one foot to another letting it rest on her left leg. "I'm about to turn the big 18." she said excitement in her eyes. She still wasn't the legal drinking age or anything legal age other than driving but she looked old enough to get into those places. "No need for a gift, it's a no gift party." She stated she hated gifts, 'cuz if she disliked the gift she couldn't just outright tell them.


He didn't budge staying stuck in his spot. He looked at her, he was a few inches taller than her giving him the advantage to look down her shirt although he figured not just yet although that bikini sh was wearing didn't give much to the imagination he liked it. "I would never break a heart," he said looking hurt "I'm a gentlemen." he stated giving her his prize winning lopsided grin.

She smiled thankful that he was coming. She had invited her short time boyfriend to be her escort to the party but he bailed claiming that he had 'better things to do', she hated him! "That is just so sweet of you!" she exclaimed starting to walk along side him. "So how old are you?" she asked, names weren't important it wasn't like she was going to see him again. California was a big state.


He smirked backing away from her and bowing "Landon Greene at your service." he said taking her hand and kissing it softly a smile on his lips the whole time. He was used to this game, he usually got the 6s or 7s but today he had scored a 10!

"This bonfire would be just past the little snack bar we've got down there," she said pointing to the group of people far in the distance. She was already a half hour late mostly because of her getting ready. She had searched through her closet, what did someone wear to their 18th birthday party? She wore a pair of high waisted shorts with a strapless white top a small sweater hanging off her shoulders. "It'll be fun there's gonna be music, people, s'mores." She said listing some things she knew was going to happen.



"Cassidy," he said the name "it's like sweet music to my ears." he said closing his eyes and facing towards the sun. He knew he could be a flirt most of the time but he did like her name it was cute and suited her perfectly.

She blushed slightly trying not to let him see it by looking down at her feet. "Why thank you again." she said laughing nervously. She usually wasn't the type to get all giggly and girly over a guy but he was definitely proving that she had that side in her. "If it ever gets boring i already have a cover story for you leaving," she said teasingly.

He liked that approach her taking control of the situation "Of course," he went for her phone but pulled his hand away reaching into his own pocket "only if i get yours first, i don't want you dashing away and never calling me." He said with a smile on his face his iphone in his palm waiting for her

She smiled at that blushing more, she put her hand on her cheek as she looked at him and continued talking "I'd say you had to run because your dad a big time club owner needed you to run the club for the night. Making your exit totally cool and gives me brownie points." she said laughing softly.

He smiled he could get used to hearing her say his name. He entered his number into her phone and then set and alarm on her phone for 8 o'clock and the label being 'date night!'. He laughed whe he saw her taking the selfie "That was quite attractive," he said scratching his arm making his muscles bulged.

"Hope you don't feel too awkward with being the minority." She said seeing her friends she smiled and waved at them with a big toothy smile, "there's going to be way more pie ole coming, they all work." She explained as she linked her arm with his hoping he didn't pull away. His arm felt strong under her thing hand.


Landon looked at her mystery in his eyes "you'll see, I don't like giving away surprises." He said mischievously "all you get to know is that you need to meet me at that pier at 8:00 sharp!" He said smiling at her, he still had no idea what he was gonna do!

"Perfect!" She said fixing her hair moving it to one side to show off her neck and her tanned chest. The guys clapped when they arrived "finally princess shows up only 45 minutes late for her own party!" One of them says making the group laugh.

Landon laughed "you have my mom to thank for that," he said replying to the comment about his name. His name wasn't very common but it wasn't abnormal for his mom to pick such a name she was quite eccentric.

Hayzel went around hugging and telling them the latest with her day, how some guy had tried to steal her car and how he gave her an excuse when she caught him. About an hour later after getting updated she plopped down next to Conner two beers in her hand "Want one?" she asked handing it to him.


He bit his lip as she left, she had a nice ass was the last thing he thought before he started off running again towards his friends place. He got ready borrowing a pair of his pals jeans because his were all torn up and a white muscle t. He figured it would show off the darkness of his tattoos.

She smiled at him taking a sip out of hers, she wasn't big on drinking but what the hell it was her party! "I'm having tons of fun!" she said pushing her hair out of the way "How about you? sorry for just leaving you that's so rude of me."


Landon was running towards the pier he had fallen asleep watching tv again! He saw Cass's blonde hair from a mile away. He caught up to her leaning out and catching her hand "Wait!" he said out of breath.

She bumped his shoulder with her own "well I'm all yours for now," she said smiling at him. Her face only shadows because of the flames of the fire. She put her beer on the ground surrounding it by sand so that it wouldn't fall. "I'm Hayzel by the way, I figured you might want to brag about the best bin fire you've ever seem," she teased


He put his hands on his knees "I fell asleep! I woke up at 8 and I ran here" he said between breaths "so sorry!" He finally said standing upright

"You look like a Conner," she said smiling at him playing with her fingers. She watched him put his beer in the sand, "I hope you didn't have anything better to do tonight." She said looking up at him before she pulled her hair into a high pony tail letting the heat of the fire warm up her neck.


Landon laughed "I haven't run that fast in awhile!" He said looking at her. "Now," he held out his hand for her to take "whose ready for some real fun?" He asked, he was planning on taking her to the fair that was just down the pier, what better place to take a girl right?

She laughed looking at her friends "they're an um unique bunch!" She said before watching him checking her out. She liked it when guy checked her out it gave her an ego boost, I still got it! She thought. "See the brunette making out with him, they broke up a year ago." She said pointin at them.


"Supper will consist of hot pretzels and hot dogs from a stand." He said saying the menu "hope you don't mind thought we would have a fun little date tonight. Restaurants are so over rated!" He said looking at her the whole time he smirk appearing again.

"Not at all!" She said laughing with him her friends were an odd bunch especially the couples. She looked him over smirking "who's to say I haven't already?" She said raising an eyebrow then she tapped his arm "I just haven't made my move yet, the nights still young my new friend." She said smiling then bit her lip as she looked into his eyes.


"That's a refreshing answer!" He said his voice full of enthusiasm. He paid the fee to get into the fair and handed her the small bracelet saying you actually paid to get in. "Want me to put it on?" He asked

She looked around before she settled her gaze on him "I figured you would've been messing around with some of my girls already," she said raising an eyebrow a small smile playing at her lips. That's what guys do right? Go to parties hook up then play hooky.


He smirked as she bent a little to attach her bracelet, his big fingers rough against hers. He silently cursed himself girls liked smooth hands while his were tough from years of volleyball and football. He finished hers and held out his hand " my lady?" He said smirking.

She laughed at him teasing her, she looked at him shaking her head. She looked at the fire at his next comment , so he ha his eyes on someone there went her plan "lucky girl," she said winking at him playfully.


He looked at her opening his arms to the fair "where you want to go, all your favourites should be done at the end, just incase I mess up!" He said laughing at his own joke

She giggled "me?" She asked turning her body towards him "should I be considering myself lucky then?" She asked watching how he bit his lip man it was so sexy but she kept her cool. She kept her hands at her sides playing with the edge of her sweater.


He smiled at her "that sounds really cute and sweet." He put his arm around her shoulder "sounds like you had a good childhood." He said before looking at all the rides "how about we show those kids over there how to ride the tea cups?" He said grinning mischievously at her.

She smiled at him looking down at his lips then at his eyes "and how exactly would we be finding out?" She asked playfully her hair falling over her cheeks as she leaned closer towards him being close to him was making her tingle.

He laughed as they made their way to the ride "we picked the best night," he said motioning to the small line for the teacups. He smirked when she kissed his cheek he couldn't wait to feel what a real full on kiss felt like with her.

Hayzel sighed when he kissed her, his lips felt as good as they looked, soft and rounded for a guy. She slowly put her hands around his neck as she slide into the sand him hovering over her. She didn't want to break the kiss, the sparks felt so good and so real.


Landon smirked at her once they had gotten into a teacup "you ready for this?" He asked her since she looked nervous. He always tried to make people feel comfortable, he placed his hands on the wheel in the center taking her hands with his .

She enjoyed the kiss deepening it even more, she put one of her hands on his that was trailing along her hip the other hand was around his neck ensuring that he wouldn't break free of their embrace.

He laughed starting to pull the wheel in a circular motion "come on Cass!" He cheered knowing he would be doing most of the work which was completely fine with him there was nothing better than showin off his muscles here and there

She loved this reaction she was having she let her hand go to his sides pulling him completely on too of her. She didn't want anything else in that moment but him.

He laughed as they spun "on three we'll release and see how far this bad boy will take us." He said above the roar of children laughing "one...two..." He looked at Cass a huge smile on his face as he took in her features and snapping out of it said "three!" He released the wheel his hands in the air.

Hayzel smiled against his lips full on make out session she'd so take it! She leaned and elbow into the sand letting her body stay against his. This had to be the best kiss she's ever had. No matter how many times she'd kissed perfect strangers it was amazing but she had to make it stop.


Landon laughed dropping his hands and grabbing Cassidy's bringin them up in the air with his "fun right!?" He said over the noise of the children and the sound of the ride.

She touched her lips before looking up at him getting into a sitting position in the sand. The warmth from the fire seeping into the sand giving her warmth. "That has got to be the best gift I've ever had." She smiled with the thought, she looked up at him "you might have to shower me with those kinds of gifts." She looked down then back up at him "if we know each other that long."

The ride started to slow down Landon was laughing, he hadn't had that much fun on a kids ride in a long time especially with beautiful company. He looked over at Cass and smiled her hair flying all over she was still gorgeous.

She tried to look relaxed and calm when he reached to pull her hair away from her face but a smile formed anyways. "I kinda like that idea." She said moving her head her smile growing wider "maybe more than friends one day." She said shrugging hoping that maybe it'll happen.


He smiled happy that she willing took his hand, he held on giving it a squeeze "how about bumper cars?" He asked, he didn't want to hurt her because he could be abit roughy when he wanted to be. "Actually what do you want to do?"

Hayzel smirked then it grew into a big smile that hurt her cheeks to continue on but she didn't care. It felt good to be this happy over a perfect stranger! "I should go get some more sticks and paper for this bad boy." she said motioning to the fire as she pushed herself off the sand.


He looked over at the Zipper it was one hell of a ride and he absolutely hated heights but he wasnt about to tell a girl that! "Of course!" he said giving a nervous laugh "If you're scared you can totally hang on to me." he said winking at her, taking in her wild side.

She pushed her hair behind her ear as she looked at him, even the way he moved stirred something inside her. "Ya help would be nice." She said brushing sand off her tanned legs, "the bigger the sticks the better." she said smiling at him.


Landon smirked he liked the thought of her clinging to her even though he'd be shitting his pants just as much as she would be! He cleared his throat at the tall blondie "Hey, get your own date buddy." he said putting his arm around her shoulder protectively.

Hayzel had given up finding sticks and went to look for paper to help the fire grow even more. She went to the little drink booth and asked for old newspapers talking to the girl that was workin there. By the time she left to go back to the fire 15 minutes had passed and the employee was invited after her shift. She rolled up some paper and put it into the fire "I got distracted," she said as she walked up.


Landon shook his he's and scoffed "forget him, that's definitely not going down on the first date." He looked at her how sweet and innocent he thought. "I'm not that trashy." He smiled trying to make her laugh.

"Omg I'm so sorry," she said siting down next to him "I didn't mean to wake you." She looked at him then looked back at the drink station "I was chatting with Lauren. New employee there, I invited her to come and hang after her shift." She said explaining sorta what happened.


Landon took deep breaths giving her a nervous smile. He hated heights he was completely terrified. He released his grip on the bar and took her hand as the ride started to move he looked at her "I can't take the pressure I'm totally afraid of heights." He confessed

She smiled as he kissed her cheek closing her eyes at the same time just seconds to later to make them flutter open. She watched him as he put the paper in the fire making it look bolder then it did before. She laid down next to him her arm and thigh touching his. She could feel tingling in those parts but tried to ignore them no matter how hard it was, she looked up "It is beautiful. Everything worked out perfectly tonight." She said sneaking a glance at him.

"I definitely want to go on the Ferris wheel." He said shaking his head "Those kinds of heights are fine as long as you do this." he said referring to where she had located herself. He liked the feeling of her against him. He kept his head to the side his breath on her neck the whole ride "I could get used to this," he teased whispering in her ear.

"Another present?" She said it more like A statement then a question. She was starting to like his kinds of presents a lot. She smiled at that biting her lip as she looked at the stars then looked at him rolling into her side so she could look at him. His jaw structure, how his hair fell on his forehead, the way his eyes shine with the reflection of the stars. It made her want to sigh loud.


Landon yelp when the ride started, and then a girlish scream came out of his mouth. He tried to distract himself with the feeling of Cassidy's body against him but it wasn't working the fear was stronger than him. He was screaming along with Cass his screams getting deeper, and once he saw Cass's reaction he laughed she was scared to!
