You guys are all wrong. It's Hatch. If you remember he traveled to Europe at that exact time. He also won't hesitate to employ deadly means to keep his secrets. He is also the one to feed them all with accurate information. It's definitely Hatch.

well no think about it theres the other electric child that can stop your body functions and should not be alive due to cancer. then at the end of the fifth book schema says "no, it cant be" and some people do not remember that michaels father was a doctor who worked on the mei.... he had helped others who had also been apart of the mei testing to dissapear like fake their death just as his father had died.... his father had gathered them all and created the resistance... and with the doctor cunrade or whatever the 3rd doctors name was and how he could have easily been the voice but if he could fix the mei then its better if hes out of the way because the elgen are not above torture now those of you who think well michael did it... no he cheated with the help of the other electric children. and it the 3rd doctor had dissapeared then why say
"no, it cant be" (like he was dead) when the 3rd didnt die he dissapeared and michaels father had died and started the resisstance.
and with michaels leadership skills then why not say that he got that from his father.

Does anyone else think it's possible the the voice could be michael from the future? Maybe Michael's electricity has given him the ability to manipulate time. It's unlikely that that would happen, but it'd be a kind of cool turnout.

In the Richard Paul Evans interview, Richard literally says that it's not his dad...

It's Hatch. He is trying to control the World's power. once he does that he will destroy all traces of his connection to the Elgen and he will expose the Elgen. once the Elgen are compromised, he will come out and introduce himself as the leader of the Resistance. They will probably come up with a catchy new company name and have all of the Electric youth partially control it. All is well that ends well.

My first thoughts were that it was either Michael's dad or hatch. I had to reread the other books(still working on that) and make a list of everyone it mentions, and who they are, and what happens to them. i'll keep ya posted! ;)

I feel like the Voice is Michael's father, I just have a really strong feeling about it. I dunno, I mean, it's possible, but it's also kinda unlikely. Also, the cliffhanger in book five.... UGH, I'm seriously dying right now.

THE VOICE IS NOT HIS FATHER. In the fifth book it got you thinking at the end where it says," no, it cant be." When Schema meets the voice. Its probably like a scientist or something. Also, Richard even said it wasn't his dad in his interview with Glen. People even thought it was Hatch but that would't make sense. because number 1, Hatch was their when the attacks were on him.

You have to think this through more. Micheal's father died when Micheal was young. Many years have passed without him hearing his dad's voice. The only reason I can think Scema would be in awe is because it's Carl Vey

At the end of Michael Vey: Storm of Lightning, I have come to expect that the Voice is indeed Mr. Carl Vey. I sounded my opinion to my teen children and they liked the idea.

I think that the voice is Hatch.

I think that they were messing with Schema. I bet he meets with Michael Vey. The others are acting like they don't know each other. There is some kind of ruse going on.

I'm iffy about saying the Voice is Michael's father. I already was fooled into hoping his father was alive when Hatch decided to tease Michael. -.- I don't want to get my hopes up again..

I love this book it is the best book I've read in a long time.

I think he is too. What if he is? I would scream in ecstasy. That would be amazing. I hope his mom`s not dead. If she is I will curl up into a ball and bawl my eyes out and then lie in my bed for a couple hours and stare at nothing.

I have thought the same thing (the Voice being Michael's father). Could it possible that the sound of the voice is altered? That way the Voice can still communicate with Michael without giving himself away.
