Hummmm ... Sherry told me that this thread was here for me to talk about myself and my book. As uneasy as I feel talking about myself, I will give it my best effort. I didn't start out with the intention of writing a book. I wrote these various short stories for no reason other than the joy of writing. After several people complimented my stories and asked if I had a book or planned on writing a book, I began to consider the idea.

When I stumbled across a site called CreateSpace, I knew that I had found the place where my book would be born. As a preliminary exercise to creating my first full-length novel, I decided to publish this collection of my short stories so that I would know the ins and outs of creating a book on CreateSpace. So far the experience has been all positive. Of course, like any author, I live in abject fear of the harsh review like any, but so far, the reviews have been most supportive and kind.

My book is comprised of eleven stories. For the most part, my stories search for or expose the good in people. It is my hope that after you read my book, you will feel a little bit better about the world and you will be a little more inclined to try to make the world a better place to live.

I hope that you give my book a try ... and I hope that you enjoy it.

I was just looking at your profile. Why don't you convert your Goodreads profile to Goodreads author's page. People can become fans, leave reviews for your book, etc...That's My Story!

Uhmmm ... I don't know. Perhaps I should look into that.

It is not difficult, just takes a few minutes. Look at my author's page. You can do so much more with your page as an author.

You're very welcome G.H., I am looking forward to finishing that Vegas story. It looked quite intriguing. I wish I could have JUST ONE of those days. lol

And yes GH, definitely look into becoming a Goodreads Author. You can list your book as a giveaway to get some more exposure and do a few other things as well.
