Book Lair discussion

I'm afraid to see this movie. I loved the book so much—you think you know what it's about when you start reading, and it's not that at all, and then you're sucked in and have to keep reading. I was excited when I heard they were making a movie out of it, but I've watched the trailer a number of times since it's come out, and it barely looks like the same thing at all. I think if it winds up on Netflix Instant Watch or Amazon Prime Videos I'll brave it, but otherwise... I may just put the book in the re-read pile instead. Has anyone seen it?

I haven't seen or read this either. I love books with plots that twist and turn, so from Z's comments it sounds like something I would like.
