Popsugar Reading Challenge 2019 discussion

For the week of August 25-31.

I finished 'City of Lost Souls' by Cassandra Clare. Still really loving the audio books of this series! The readers always do a great job.

I finished 'Yes Please' by Amy Poehler. I listened to the audiobook read by the author herself. Poehler did a great job of course and it was interesting learning about her journey to become such a great comedian and actress.

I also finished 'The House of Salt and Sorrow' by Erin Craig. I really liked this book! It was a lot of genres thrown into one. Part horror/ghost story, part fantasy, part historical-ish mystery it combined everything really well and I really enjoyed reading it. I also did not call the ending at all. The epilogue though has me divided; it would have been a great book without it and it felt like a cheap cop-out but overall, really liked the book.

Oh and I finished 'Iron Kissed' by Patricia Briggs. Still working my way through the Mercy Thompson series.
