DC on TV discussion

Fox as requested more episodes to add to the original 16 that were confirmed. There will now be a total of 22 episodes for a full fledged season.
That means a nice long season for us to watch with the development of more characters and stories a lot more defined in the history of Gotham.

I have read some message boards where the writer has very much trashed the show condemning it to ashes for making a Batman show without Batman. Apparently, this individual is outspoken only to encourage outrageous debate and rabble rousing amongst fans.
As we know this is not a show about Batman but about a city where all the characters are living and becoming defined by their actions.

I was surprised the ratings keep dropping and that this resulted in Fox announcing more ordered. Personally I'm loving the show and it's my favorite of the new offerings this season so far.
