Linette | 13 comments So what is everybody reading? Are you going to achieve the 52 books?
This group has been quiet since about June.

Sandra (midwife) | 6 comments I'm reading 'Guns, Germs and Steel'. Just finished 'Amistad'

Linette | 13 comments I speed read "dealing with Dragons" yesterday. I finished reading in the wild. Read aloud God King. Sharing Hittite Warrior with my daughter. Started the Fourth Turning and plodding through A Beginners guide to constructing the Universe.
Also read 8 Cousins and Rose in Bloom by Louisa May Alcott.

Sandra (midwife) | 6 comments Hittite Warrior, very good read. What brought you to the Fourth Turning? So far looking good?

message 5: by Linette (new)

Linette | 13 comments Fourth turning is a 7 keys TJEd book.

message 6: by Linette (new)

Linette | 13 comments Yes I know that feeling. The one where you wonder if there is an end to a book.

message 7: by Rachelle (new)

Rachelle | 10 comments haha. For me the feeling grows to confusion as to which book to read. Can't ever decide which one I want to read at a given time and it really slows me down.

I'm reading Life of Fred--trying to get through the whole series, and right now I'm on Ice Cream. Also reading Dragon Rider, Beginner's Guide to Constructing the Universe, and The Strait Path to Real Estate Wealth. And then, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and 39 Clues: Maze of Bones with the family.

I'm still on pace for the year. But I'm also still ambitious in what I want to get read.

Linette | 13 comments Hahaha. I conquered Les Mis! Just this year. There is no end to The beginners guide to constructing the universe. Whilst I'd love to stop and do the exercises this book requires so much chewing I'd be reading it forever.
