message 1: by JJ (new)

JJ After some time spent reading the reviews down below, I came to the conclusion that most had numerous things in common.
1. confused/lost/thrown-off/eyebrow raised
2. dystopian+critics= expected over-boom
3. initial thoughts of "you know what really grinds my gears?" to "the obvious speculations on outcomes" finalizing it as "good things, good things"
So my real question is: why did Howard Jacobson win another Booker prize??

message 2: by Joe (new) - rated it 3 stars

Joe Clarke He didn't win another. He was shortlisted but Richard Flanagan won for 'The Narrow Road to the Deep North'.
