Jeff | 425 comments DC/Warner had promised to release new movie news concerning their superhero properties and they sure did.
After announcing a release schedule with no titles affixed to that schedule, they have confirmed the following list of titles first to their investors and then to the public.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice - March 25th, 2016
•Suicide Squad – August 5th, 2016
•Wonder Woman - June 23rd, 2017
•Justice League - November 17th, 2017
•The Flash - March 23rd, 2018
•Aquaman - July 27th, 2018
•Shazam - April 5th, 2019
•Justice League 2 - June 14th, 2019
•Cyborg - April 3rd, 2020
•Green Lantern - June 19th, 2020

There will supposedly there will be stand alone Batman and Superman films before 2020.

All in all its looking to be a great build up of DC movies to come out.

ITs also good to see that plans for a clean reboot of Green Lantern is going to happen. That character is too good to let languish in the shadows.

So a lot of good stuff to come.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) Yeah I saw this on Facebook the other day. They've announced a ton of them. Not a Wonderwoman fan but I'll watch all of them, of course.

Good they're doing another standalone Superman, although it's weird since they are already including so many in the second. I'm taking it more to mean it will be a trilogy but they'll also have him in a Justice League flick.

Surprised there will be another Batman, guess it will be Afleck from now on?

I'm especially excited besides those two for Cyborg and Shazam.

Interesting.

Ronyell (rabbitearsblog) | 60 comments Pretty good schedule so far! I like the fact that we are getting a Wonder Woman film before a Justice League film since I think that Wonder Woman really needs more development before she is shown in Justice League. The Flash I'm pretty excited for since I'm a huge Flash fan and it would be interesting to see how they would handle his character in the movies. I'm really surprised by the Cyborg film since I never would have thought that they would choose Cyborg to get his own movie when there are more popular Titans characters like Starfire and Dick Grayson who could get their own movies.

But, I'm pretty excited for this schedule!

Travis (travishiltz) | 487 comments Can't say I'm excited, as the DC movies have yet to WOW! me, but I am feeling optimistic.
Nice to hear that Wonder Women is going to be a period piece.
Surprised to hear Cyborg is getting a solo film, as I imagined he would be DC's Hawkeye.

Jeff | 425 comments It seems to me that the entire Justice League cast are getting their own individual movies. To tell the truth, Im not a cyborg fan, but all of it is good to me. Now, all of this hinges on how well Batman vs. Superman fares. Hopefully it will do well. I have all the faith inthe world in Zack Snyder's ability to bring comic book related things to the big screen. Though not everyone will agree with me, Im still wowed every time I view the Watchmen film.

But if it all works out, we will have two super companies putting out their superheroes on film. I cant say I want to see one over the other, But since I've seen so many Marvel movies with more on the way, I think its DC's time to shine. IM not one to buy into the competition between Marvel and DC, aside of the fact that they are competing comic book companies, but film wise they have their own strategies. But not matter what, its to release a quality film with visuals and story line to create entertainment we will all enjoy.

I agree with all this! I could care less at this point which comic book movies I'm more interested in whether it's DC or Marvel. I just want a good comic book movie that is able to develop the characters and the situations very well.
