I’m sorry I don’t guess these, Dirk. I’m afraid most of the artists you’ve posted recently I’ve never heard of so I don’t think I would know any of these. (A few I have but I wouldn’t get those) And it seems all the artists I do know have already been done. But I am learning about new artists!
No apologies needed Heather!I humbly admit I myself would have trouble with most of these pics.
About this artist I learned just this summer !

Not that particular painting. I just looked at the style and her name popped into my head.
I think the hemlock likes to standUpon a marge of snow;
It suits his own austerity,
And satisfies an awe
That men must slake in wilderness,
Or in the desert cloy, —
An instinct for the hoar, the bald,
Lapland's necessity.
The hemlock's nature thrives on cold;
The gnash of northern winds
Is sweetest nutriment to him,
His best Norwegian wines.
To satin races he is nought;
But children on the Don
Beneath his tabernacles play,
And Dnieper wrestlers run.
Emily Dickinson
