I was biting my tongue for at least three months. :)

I've opted to continue setting my GR Reading Challenge widget at 12, regardless of my actual goal(s), until the powers that be find a solution for those of us that like to Reread!

Check out my series craziness challenge. Lol.

I have and I think you're nuts. :P

:-D

It's a great start!
I've read a few books! A handful of romances and The ROok.
LOVED the Rook.

Cool, right? Yeah, no. I mean, yeah, lots of books that are like found money, but no to trying to obtain some semblance of order. I'm NOT going to manually sort nearly 2000 books into collections on the thing. Mama needs batch edit beyond what the Fire offers.
So I used the Goodreads / Kindle integration and am in the process of importing them to my GR account. I figure I can sort them here, on somewhat-organized Kindle-specific shelves, which I can then browse on the GR for K app, and then do a quick title search > download on the Fire.
And hey, did ya notice I've been READING??? I know, right?
Gadgetry is so motivating. Free gadgetry, even more so. Wuv me wittle Fire. :D

Welcome back to the land 'o reading, and congratulations on your new Fire! I hope you enjoy! :)

It's a sturdy case with a zipper and notepad, and I really like that it props in both vertical and horizontal position without getting all floopy like some cases do. The panel that the tablet is attached to rotates.
Anyway... I was reading two perfectly good books (well, "good" might be a stretch on one of them) but I decided to go ahead and start a trial of Kindle Unlimited and I've suddenly found myself in the middle of a smutfest. :D
