"The weather is to bad, I can't see a damn thing through this rain." he told her glaring at the pouring down rain. It would have been true if he were human, and her house was still a couple miles away.

He pulled into his driveway and turned the car off. "We are going to have to make a break for the door, and yes we are going to get soaked." he looked over at her.
He ran for the door at human speed and unlocked it letting her in. "Yeah its my house. You're soaked" he chuckled
"So you'd rather I risk getting in a reck trying to take you home?" he asked, the hunger gnawing at him now that she was in his house, away from prying eyes.
He looked her in the eyes and let his compulsion flow. "And you won't remember meeting me, or anything about me. You don't know how you got home from the coffee shop."
He sighed. Of course he had to pick a strong willed girl, he had the worst luck ever. "I swear I'm not going to hurt you." he told her seriously. He had no intention of actually hurting her.
"You don't." he sighed. "But there is the door and you are welcome to leave at any time." he told her walking past her and into the kitchen. He honestly didn't expect her to stay, but there was something about her that intrigued him
"Yeah." he opened the medicine cabinet in the kitchen and pulled out a brand new bottle of advil and grabbed a glass out of the cabinet and filled it with water from the fridge. "Here you go." he handed them both to her.
"That's fine with me. Living room is in there, I'm sure the TV is still working if you want to watch it." he offered putting the pills back up. He was warring with the hunger, it was telling him to just bite her, but he had decided he could find someone else.
He froze when she hugged him but he carefully wtapped his arms around her and kept his head up, temptation practically smacking him in the face
He led her to the living room and opened the small closet where he kept blankets and pillows. "You should probably let your parents know where you are" HE told her once his fangs went WAY
"Oh I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have asked." he told her genuinly feeling badly. He pulled her into a hug, not wanting to see her cry. Sure he was a vampire, and had killed people but girls crying did something to him, plus there was already something about her.
He could smell her tears and he sighed. "It's not fine. You are still grieving after eight years. Didn't you get to grieve when she passed?" he asked gently stroking her hair.
"Where has he been? Is it safe in this weather?" he asked concerned as he led her over to the couch and then grabbed a blanket and a pillow for her.
"Oh, so do I need to take you home?" he asked looking out the window at the pouring down rain, that was causing zero visibility.
"Well planes are delayed due to weather. Therefore that would not be his fault." he told her from the kitchen
He didn't respond to that and just finished making her hot chocolate. He came in with two mugs and handed her one as he started a movie.
"I would feel safer if I took the both of you. I'm a more experienced driver." he told her. Then he realized that if her father was gone she lived with her brother, that they took care of each other.
((Lol cool. Im going to have her explain that :p ))"So is it your brother you live with?" he asked as the previews rolled
Markus had dozed off as well about halfway through the movie. When she moved though he woke up and looked at her, slightly confused and very nearly bit her. He sighed and pushed the need away though.
"You, you think that you are the only beings in the world. It's not true you know?" He told her speaking more broadly of humankind
"You said I wasn't a vampire. To which I replied that you are wrong." he shrugged, giving her a small smiled. "You actually haven't done anything wrong besides assuming things that aren't true."
He opened his mouth as his fangs slid forward. He didn't make any move toward her though. After a moment he let his fangs disappear again. "I mean yeah I survive on human blood but I'm not blood thirsty" he assured her.
"Honestly I have no idea. That was my intention, but then I got you here and my compullsion didn't work on you. You are quite intriguing." he told her
"Are you mad at me?" he asked confused as hell. He didn't understand humans, let alone human women, he didn't even think they understood themselves sometimes.((why?))
