Adramelech stepped into the rose garden and looked around with a bored expression. He had just come back from training and was dressed in sweats and a muscle shirt, his tattoos on full display. His cold, red eyes traveled over the roses, his expression changing to one of annoyance and the whispering around him. With a growl he walked further into the gardens, the sweat on his body slowly drying off. He wandered until he found a bench and sat down, pulling out a book and starting to read, taking the chance to relax for the first time in a few days.
Logan stumbled through the garden, her eyes darting around the beautiful rose garden. Sighing she took in a deep breath, when had been the last time she'd eaten. She ran her hands through her hair and sighed. Where was she? Logan moved through the garden and then stiffened when she saw the man sitting on the bench. Would he attack her too. She backed away, his air demanding and dark. Last time she had felt an aura like that she was attacked by the men that had it. She had no idea what to do, she just stood there.
Adramelech slowly lifted his gaze from his book to the human that stood a bit away. He let out another growl of annoyance. As part of his training he was not allowed to kill humans when he saw them. He had been told he needed to 'control his temper'. He closed his book and studied the human, his red and black eyes held a look that matched his aura "What are you doing here human?" he asked. His voice was deep and smooth, giving a calming effect that dominated over his aura. His voice matched the voice that a doctor or someone else you could trust would have. It had helped him calm people and convince them to do thing they may not have wanted to do in many situations.
"I have no idea, one of the many roads from the middle of nowhere led me here, sorry if I disturbed you." Logan murmured, she rolled her head to the side and looked at him with a sigh. Her eyes narrowed slightly before her ice blue eyes softened, and her body relaxed. Her hands resting on both her elbows, Nose red and cheeks hollow. She hadn't dared to eat any of the berrys and fruit she had seen on her travels. Again she didn't move, as if she were in a state of paralysis. Logan stayed still and watching him and his breath taking features and scary eyes, she had nowhere to go anyway.
Adramelech studied the human, disgusted at how weak she looked. He frowned in thought for a moment. Wondering if he should send her on her way to starve or if he should help her and see what he could get from her in the end. Maybe a soul or a debt of some kind. "Come here" he said after a moment, gesturing for her to sit on he bench as he stood. "You look hungry. I'll get berries for you." He said, working hard to keep the disgust out of his voice, slightly surprised that he was successful. He set his book in the spot he had just vacated and studied her, taking in the brown hair and blue eyes. She was pretty attractive for a weak human. With a slight frown, he pushed his hair out of his face and switched his thoughts to what he could possibly trick her into giving him.
Logan simply sat, feeling compelled to do so. Shaking her head she ran a hand through her hair, "Thank you." She managed to stutter out, through her chapped pink lips. She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, looking down at his book before back up at him. Her hands curled in her lap, should she even trust him? She relaxed even though the thoughts rounded her head, the hunger more important.
Adramelech smirked slightly and went off to get the berries. He returned shortly with a bowl filled with a different assortment of berries and handed them to Logan. "Were you running from something?" he asked, tilting his head slightly. He moved his book and sat back down, leaning forward a bit and resting his forearms on his legs. He waned to find something to do with this girl. he was so used to killing humans and others that he disliked that he hadn't remembered to have fun and play with one in a few hundred years.
"You could say that." She said, more than a little illusive. She looked over at him as she slowly picked one of the berries out of the bowel, looking at it she bit her lip. Logan had never seen anything like it, she then quickly moved it to her lips and bit into it. The explosive tastes tingling in her tongue, she glanced back up at him. "Who are you?" She asked softly, redirecting her attention on to him.
"My name is Azriel" Adramelech said with a smile. His real name was known across Wonderland as a powerful demon who hated humans and would kill them without a second glance. He had no doubt she would hear it eventually if she hadn't already. His alias, on the other hand, was barley used and little to none knew it. Those who did had never connected it to his real name or had died. "Where do you come from?" He countered. He didn't want to give too much away to a stranger. especially when that stranger was a human.
"England in the human world." She said and looked at his smile, it had a predatory edge to it. The way his lips tilted at the corners and eyes sparkled. "It's nothing very special." Logan laughed lightly, "I've never heard of a name such as yours before." She added, murmuring quietly before putting another berry into her mouth.
"I've been to England. It's a nice place" Adramelech said, leaning back a bit. "It is the name of an Angel that I have descended from." He said, not bothering to mention that it was a fallen angel, or that it was the only thing he remembered from his human life. "What brings you to wonderland?" He asked. He was very defensive of the land that had become his home after that filthy human had trapped him on earth. He had run into humans who wanted to destroy it and he had killed them without a word. He had seen it in their eyes, felt it in their energies. He would not let them win.
Logan blinked and rubbed her neck, an angel? Was he an angel? He couldn't be. She then paused her hands travels to her mouth, she glanced up at him. The question on his lips making her uneasy, should she fell him. Logan searched his red eyes without fear. Sighing she looked at one of the roses, "Many reasons, the most significant is that I really didn't want to get married. It was an escape, I mean no harm, just a place to run from my life in England." She admitted, she might as well tell someone.
Adramelech smiled again, this time more genuine. He was impressed by the fearlessness in the humans gaze. "Wonderland is a good place to hide when you do not want to be found." He said, running a hand through his hair. "It is a beautiful place that to many of your kind want to harm." He said, stretching his legs out. It was true. When he did not want to be found by a specific person, he could easily disappear, but it was also easy for someone to find you by accident. As long as they didn't look too hard there was a good chance they would find you.
Logan had gotten over his dark aura, he didn't seem all that bad, "I understand that, the only way I could get into wonderland was pretending to join them, they wouldn't let me go. I left as soon as possible." She said and smiled back slightly, she moved her eyes downcast to where he stretched out his legs. "It's beautiful alright, but ever so confusing." She murmured thoughtfully.
"Are those humans the one's you were running from? Or some other creature?" Adramelech asked, tilting his head slightly and watching her. He could see her relax further and begin to fall for his claims, and it brought him joy. He leaned back on hands and looked up at the sky. "The confusion is part of its charm. Unlike earth, Wonderland never gets old. There's a mystery behind every corner" he said, dropping his gaze back down to her
"Yeah, I can see the, the different things and paths leading to many places." Logan smiled slightly, it was so beautiful but oddly insane. The things and places confusing and weirdly wonderful. You could definitely tell why the residents named it what they did. "And do you really want to know?" She sighed and rolled her eyes over to him, from where she had been staring at the bench.
Adramelech nodded "I do" he said, leaning forward and resting his arms on his legs again. The girl was curious. He had never seen a human stay around him for so long. They usually took a look at his eyes and ran, even the few that he hadn't run that had exchanged a few words never calmed. They couldn't seem to get past his eyes. Not that he cared, he enjoyed watching the humans squirm and be filled with fear. He usually killed them soon after anyways. He studied her again, wondering if it was just his voice that calmed her or if it was something else.
"Well..." She started and then looked down into her small hands, with a sigh she bites her lip again. Logan sighed and ran her hands through her hair, she was used to dealing with people like him. The way they held themselves and presence in the room, it filled the area with darkness and sin. It was always around court and she got over it at an early age.
Adramalech tilted his head. "You can tell me" he said, his voice soothing. He was going to call her by a name but realized he hadn't asked for one. Knowing the names of humans never concerned him and not asking a name was a mistake he made often. He had been told not knowing names would make it less personal. He had never cared, as killing humans didn;t require being personal. But if he was going to get anything from this girl he had to be more personal.
"I don't really think I should, I don't know you all that well Azriel." She said softly, she was relaxing more and more and finding it harder bit to tell him the things that had bubbled up in her throat. Logan shut her eyes for a moment, "Thank you for the berries, but I think maybe you want to go back to your book." She said softly, reaching out for the leather bound book.
Azdramalech reached out and stopped her hand with a smiled. His hand was warm, not so warm that it would hurt but warmer than a usual humans. "I'm much more interested in you right now..." he said trailing off and giving a small frown. "I don't think I caught your name." He said, releasing her hand and sliding the book out of her reach. "I've never met a human who wants to preserve wonderland before" He said, with interest in his eyes. It was the truth. Most humans he ran into wanted to end wonderland, so he ended them.
"My names Fiona but I go Logan, it's my middle name." She said when he released her smaller hand from his large paw, "And why should I want to destroy something so unique and beautiful? Those who do will just destroy what is so different. Humans are scared of the unknown, we feel the the need to light it up and see it. Dominate it. I like a little mystery." Logan explained and looked at him, "And who exactly are you?" She asked, knowing his name was different from really knowing him.
Adramelech studied her and nodded at what she said. "What humans do is foolish. Mystery is good." He murmured and hen frowning at her question. "What do you mean?" He asked, tilting his head studying her. He had no idea how she could tell he had not told her his true name. He hadn't been fully lying about it. It was his middle name as a human because he was a descendant of the angel Azriel, as he had been told. It was the only thing he remembered from his human life. Which he was fine with, as it was useful. Unlike how useless humans were. He honestly thought being tortured until he became a demon was the best thing to ever happen to him.
"You know more about me than I do about you, tell me about you." She said softly, explaining herself and looking up at him with a small smile. Her eyes bright and blue, searching his with a sigh. "Where are you from?" Logan asked and put her hands in her lap and picked at some of the berries she had yet to eat.
Adramelech shrugged "I have no idea where I am originally from" he said with a frown. He was unsure what to tell Logan. he didn't want to tell her anything that would have her running away again. "I lost my memory a long time ago." He said, leaning back and stretching his legs out again. "I was tortured. I came to wonderland after spending twenty years on earth. I found it by accident. I was very pleased when I came down here" he said with a small smile. "The people are very welcoming of most species. as long as you don't want to destroy them, they accept you"
"Oh..." Logan whispered, "I hope you are okay." She murmured and patted his hand, feeling bad that someone had done that to him, "But I've noticed that, not that I've spoken much to anyone." Logan added and smiled at him, her hads pulling away from his and back into her own lap with a soft sigh.
Adramelech chuckled "Oh its in the past darling. I'm fine" he said, lifting a hand and conjuring some fire as it got darker. He was glad he had gone through the torture. It had allowed him o become as powerful as he was now and it was the best thing that had ever happened to him. "The citizens here are good at showing their thoughts through actions and not words." he said. He was one of them. He preferred actions. It seemed that killing someone instead of talking to them got the point across a lot faster
Logan looked at his hand in awe, her eyes wide and curious, "What are you?" She whispered and her fingertips hovered just over the flames, watching them dance their hypnotic movements over his skin. She leaned closer to h until she could feel the heat radiating from the flames licking at the palm of his hand. She had never seen anything like it before.
Adramelech shifted his weight a bit "I'm a demon" he said, releasing the flame so it floated a bit away. it cast shadows on his face and highlighted his eyes. He watched as the flame floated out and towards her. "be careful, it's extra hot" he said, studying her reaction. He lit another ball of flame in his hand and watched as it traveled up his arm, leaving the skin unharmed. Adramelech enjoyed playing with fire, metaphorically and physically. It seemed to calm him the way water calmed most humans.
"Demon?" She whispered and her lips parted, she moved slightly to avoid her head being eaten by a mass of flames. Her blue eyes watching as he literally played with fire, he danced it around without a care in the world. She was still hung up on him having powers let alone that he was a demon.
Adramalech nodded "Azriel was a fallen angel who became a demon shortly after. As a human I was a descendant of his" he said, reaching for he flame floating around and combining the two. He smiled as they split and came back together in some form of a dance, twisting together around his arm. He let the flames go and they suspended in mid-air a safe distance away that would keep them warm but wouldn't burn them as the dance continued.
"Oh..." Was all Logan could choke out, her eyes locked on the fire as if in a trance. She bites her lip and tilted her head to the side. Watching the flames fight around one another, "I... I'm really not sure what I'm supposed to say to the demon sitting with me." She murmured softly and finally managed to pull her eyes from th r orange flames.
Adramelech chuckled. "You seemed to be talking easily before" he said, leaning back and meeting her gaze easily. "Do you know enough about me to tell me what you were running from?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He could be curious for a demon. When he took the time to be curious anyways. He glanced at the flames again and then back at her, his red eyes shining in the flame and darkness.
"No I guess I don't." She murmured softly and looked into his red eyes, why is it when someone admits who they are or what they are, they seem so much more scary? Logan didn't move when she looked at him, the flames lighting her face in shadows and making her face change in the darkness. ((Sorry! I fell asleep!))
((sall good!!))
Adramelech sighed and turned away. "This is why I didn't want to tell you." He said, sounding hurt. "When I tell people what I am they look at me differently and get scared. Even if I wouldn't do anything to hurt them" he said, looking over at the roses, keeping a straight face, hoping his plan worked. Sometimes pulling the pity card was the best way to go about things, though it wasn't his favourite.

"I'm sorry." She whispered, "Although in my world a demon is something you fear. Something that will make you lose who you are." Logan whispered, her hands clasped together tightly with a soft sigh. "I'm sorry, I really am." She admitted, feeling bad that people who haven't done anything wrong are judged harshly by a title.
Adramelech shrugged. "It's fine sweetheart, I'm used to it." he said looking back at her. He had managed to make his eyes look sad... for a demon. In all honestly it had been quite nice talking to someone who wasn't scared or completely terrified of him. The only conversations that he got in those situations were when he was taking orders from people higher up in the ranks than him. He usually didn't care, especially when it was with a human, but there was something about this girl that made him want to talk to her.
"Yeah. It's a shame that." She murmured when he spoke, she leaned back on her arms and looked into his red eyes. The soft churning in them made her heart clench a little, she felt sorry for him. She really did. Logan ran a hand through her hair and then closed her eyes when she turned her head away from him. "What do you do here?" She asked softly, trying to steer the conversation.
Adramelech reached out for the flames, bringing them closer to him for warmth, he hated the cold. Sometimes even the summer heat was too cold for him. "I'm a knights apprentice." He said, watching the flames do their dance. "For the reds. The whites took a look at me and sent me packing." He said, figuring he could work the guilt trip in his favor. "The white's aren't as accepting as they seem."
Logan sucked in a breath and shuddered, "I'm sorry." She murmured and moved closer to the flames as the sky darkened more. She shivered again and hugged her arms. "And a knight in training huh?" She asked with a quirk to her lip, she would have thought it would been warmer if she was in red wonderland.
Adramelech shrugged. "It's not your fault sweetheart" he said, adding more flames to the already existing one, making the original flame bigger and warmer. He ran a few more flames over his skin to keep him warm and looked back at her. "And yeah. A knight in training" he said with a smile. He watched her shiver and tilted his head. "Would you be okay if I tried something? to keep you warm?" he asked. He knew his fire could be destructive, but when used properly it could be harmless and used for warming. He couldn't run it directly over her skin like he could over his, but he could separate it by a few centimeters and a barrier that would prevent her from being burned, but keep her warm all at once.
"What's that?" She asked and looked at the floating flame before glancing back at him. Logan nibbled at her lip and tilted her head to the side with a small quiet sigh. Her hands running over his arms quickly, warming the tremors that ran down her spine and over her shoulders. She then clasped her forearms and tilted her head again.
Adramalech reached out and rested his hand on her arm, the flames on his arm spread out over her arms, hovering just over her skin, giving off enough heat to keep her warm, but not so much that she would get hurt. "better?" he asked, studying her as he pulled his hand back, generating more flames for his own skin.
Logan sat with her eyes wide and staring at the flames as they moved over her skin, leaving a breath of air. Her body sat stiff when they licked and moved. "Sure..." She breathed out quickly, would they move with her? Or would she get burned?
Adramelech chuckled. "You're fine sweetheart" he said, leaning back. "They wont hurt you. There's a barrier. The only way you'd get burned would be if I let them, and I wouldn't do that to you." he said, studying her. "It would be a shame to hurt such a pretty face."
Logan flushed pink and not just her of the heat, "Thank you, I think." She smiled and moved her arms slowly, watching the flames as they followed her movements. "This is cool." She grinned and then met his eyes, her own sparkling when the light danced in her bright blue irises.
Adramelech smiled, holding her gaze easily. "Do you have a place to stay in wonderland?" he asked, tilting his head, telling himself it was out of the chance that he could get something from her. Truthfully he had never been so interested by a human and wanted to spend more time with her and get to know her a bit more.
"No, I've been roughing it." She murmured and looked back up at him, her cheeks flushed brighter. It was most embarrassing when you told someone that you were homeless in elsewhere they didn't belong. What must he think of her?
Adramelech nodded and frowned slightly. "Would you like to stay with me until you can get a place of your own?" he asked, looking up at the stars over the rose bushes, his face shadowed.
