Ryan sat on a fallen tree, his head in his hands. "How the Hell.." he mumbled and looked up, his eyes slightly red and puffy from crying at the memory of his friend that he had lost only months ago. The Irish werewolf stood up on shaky legs and wiped his nose with a dirty piece of cloth. Clearing his throat, Ryan took a deep breath and started walking in a random direction.
Ryne peeked from behind a tree. He was just spending some of his free time just wandering as usual, until he thought he heard a sound. He decided to investigate and soon he found himself here.
The demon soldier pulled up his mask, curious to see what or who was in front of him. He inched closer and peered over the side of the bark. It was a boy. He didn't look familiar at all and he certainly looked a bit strange. What was he doing here? As quietly as he can, Ryne followed him, hiding behind the bushes and trees as he went.
Ryan froze and looked over his soldier, his eyes wild. "W-who's there? S-show yourself!" He said, trying to sound as vicious as possible, but his voice was barely a whisper. He gulped and backed up looking around for any sign of life. His back hit a willow tree with a soft thud. Panic made his throat closed up, making it hard for him to breathe.
A grin split his face behind his mask. He couldn't help it. The poor boy's expression was priceless. Ryne pondered whether to mess with him so more or not. The stranger looked scared out of his wits. After some thinking, he decided to show him some sympathy.
Still cautious, Ryne took a step forward and leaned against one of the trees, his face still obscured by the dark shadows and his mask. "Hello," he greeted, his voice somewhat of a mix between bored and teasing.
Ryan's head snapped to where the voice was coming from. His eyes fell on a pair of boots. The teenager looked up, where he thought the guy's face was. "Hullo." He said shakilly. His Irish accent was thick. "W-what d'you want?" He asked quietly. His knees nearly gave out from under him. Thank goodness he had the tree.
Ryne wanted to break out laughing. He was surely interesting. The woods aren't the most intimidating thing around. Yes, it was dark, and you could get lost, but some things were way more threatening than here. Judging by his reaction, the boy probably wasn't familiar to this place. Maybe he was new? Ignoring his first question, Ryne spoke up again, pushing himself off the tree. "Ah, so you're new here?" He asked, crouching down on the ground.
Ryan stiffened. "Y-yes." He mumbled and looked down at him, takingb him in; dark hair, dark eyes which were even darker because of the eyeliner he seemed to be wearing. The boy gulped but stood his ground. "What d'you want?" He asked again.
Ryne held out his hands in front of him. "Nothing, nothing," he replies nonchalantly. He jumps up and moves beside him. "So, who are you and why are you here? You don't seem to know where this is." He clasps his hands together and rests them behind his neck. The guy didn't seem to fit in with most Wonderlandians. Blue eyes, messy brown hair. He looked pretty normal. If he took a side in the war, he couldn't tell by his dirty clothes. The rabbit hole was his best guess. So many people have been falling through there lately.
Ryan jumped as the other guy came near him. He rubbed the back of his neck feeling nervous. "I'm Dylan." He lied. Just using the name of his former friend made his heart ache. "And I just woke up here." He replied. His voice barely above a whisper.
Ryne nodded slowly. His flustered face was a screaming sign that he was lying, but after noticing his nervousness, he kept his mouth closed. Deciding not to overwhelm him, he went to the simpler question in mind. "Do you know where this is?" He asked, stepping back and gesturing the woods around him.
He shook his head then shrugged. "Somewhere in Europe?" He asked, having no clue on where he was. All he knew about this place, was that it had delicious rabbits and deer. Ths only thingbthatbwas strange was that the animals were a little.... mutated.
Ryne cocked his head to the side, a bit confused. Europe? His hands dropped to his sides. He turned his head to the side. "You really have no idea huh.." He muttered under his breath. His eyes lit up. So, he was right! The rabbit hole was probably dropping people from where ever Dylan was from.
Ryne turned and thrust out his hands to the sides, a glint of madness in his eyes. "So, I guess I should tell you then," he starts dramatically, letting loose a small laugh.
"Welcome to Wonderland!"
As soon as Maggie heard the words, Welcome to Wonderland!, she ducked behind a large tree trunk without a sound. Immediately she was suspicious. Who was being welcomed into Wonderland? Surely not a Wonderlandian; they couldn't be welcomed cause they were always there. It had to be someone or something from another world. Perhaps it was a human.Maggie hung back, listening to their conversation. She shifted position when her legs grew tired, but she wasn't watching the ground and accidentally stepped on a twig. Maggie cringed as she heard the snap that seemed to echo throughout the wood.
Ryan looked at the other guy with a blank look, then he snickered. "You mean, the fairytale of Alice in Wonderland?" He asked dubiously, but a part of him knew where he was. It would explain his other half, and the mutated animals. But- this couldn't be real! It was just a dumb story for kids to enjoy. He opened his mouth to say something else, but his face was wiped from all emotion. "No.." he mumbled, getting fearful. What if the sound was caused by 'them'? Ryan's palms started to sweat and he wiped them on his dirty trousers.
Ryne looked at him like he was crazy. He furrowed his brows. "Fairy tale?" He mumbled. "No, no, no. This is aallll real," he says, dragging out his words slowly. Ryne did hear stories about an Alice. She apparently fell down a rabbit hole and wound up in Wonderland, but he was pretty sure that was quite some time ago.
He looked at the boy, noticing his expression. "You look like you still don't believe me." He stated, monotonously. He crossed his arms and sighed.
Maggie stifled her sigh of relief when she realized the people hadn't heard her. She listened to their conversation knowing they were male because of their voices. And by the sound of what they were saying, it seemed like one of them was explaining to the other about Wonderland. Maggie swallowed as one of them mentioned Alice, the first human to discover the realm. From the stories she had been told, Alice could have been a threat, even deadly. Alice could have revealed their world, but with the many years that followed without Wonderland's discovery, Alice had probably kept her mouth shut. Maggie knew this human could also be a threat despite his confusion. She drew out her dagger and held it against her stomach in case the human became a threat.
((I take it you would like to join us in this RP?))
"Well what do you expect? I've been brought up in a somewhat normal world. How would you feel is you fell into our world all of a sudden?" He asked quietly and sank to the ground, his back still against the tree. He held his head in his hands muttering to himself. "What are you?" He asked, finally looking up at the masked man. Ryan had calmed down somewhat. As long as there were no sudden movements, he would be fine. As long as I don't smell blood, I'll be okay. He thought to himself.

((I personally do not mind, you have my permission, all you need is Kozva's permission.))
His eyes drooped. "Normal? That sounds awfully boring," he mumbled in disgust. Ryne sat down on the ground across from him, hugging one leg to his chest. He raised his brow. "What AM I?" He leaned onto his hands. "I am a lot of things," he says with a smile showing through his eyes. Before he could get into detail, he felt another presence, like someone was watching them from behind. The once happy light fell from his face. Standing up, he pulled out his favored knife, spinning it once in his gloved hand. "Who's there?" Ryne called out, his voice hard and firm. He raised his knife, ready to fight at a moment's notice. His dark eyes flashed dangerously.
((Ok cool, thanks))Maggie stiffened, cursing at herself in her mind. She stood there for a moment, debating whether to come out from behind the tree or not. For all she knew, with the person from Wonderland talking casually toward the human, they could be friends, or even conspiring together.
Maggie gripped her dagger tightly, drew a silent breath and stepped out into view. She held the dagger up beside her head in case one of them decided to attack. Maggie glanced at one of them, and by the look of his clothes and his confused expression, he had to be the human. Maggie narrowed her eyes at him, and ignoring the other man's question, asked, "Who are you?"
Ryan stood up abruptly, bumping his head on one of the branches. "What the-" He noticed the dagger and his eyes widened. "Oh H*ll no!" He mumbled and looked at the ground, knowing that he had no where to run, or hide for that matter. he closed his eyes and took deep breaths to calm his nerves. Why is this place full of crazy people? He kept thinking to himself. He still kept refusing to believe that this was Wonderland, but where else could he be?
Ryne grit his teeth from behind his mask. He looked at the girl up and down, knife still poised and pointed. He believed he saw her around Wonderland once or twice before. Yes, he was certain that she looked familiar.
Ryne frowned and huffed in annoyance. He was in the middle of something and he hated being interrupted. "I don't like being ignored nor I do like repeating myself," he stated darkly. Ryne took a step forward. "Now, who are you?" He repeated, his voice now almost emotionless.
Maggie watched the human carefully for a moment, and then turned back to Ryne. She looked him up and down, a flash of recognition crossing her face, but it didn't bother her. She had probably seen Ryne sometime in her life, even if she didn't know who he was. "...Margeurite," Maggie said slowly.
((Sorry!))
Ryan looked at the two, they seemed to vaguely know each-other. As long as no blood was split, he was safe. The Irish boy started inching his way around the tree until he was on the other side. 'Where do I go now? He thought to himself as he looked around wildly, his heart beating loudly.

((It's okay :) ))Ryne didn't move, but he felt someone shift around him. Still not turning around, he called out. "Where are you going? We're not done yet," he declared. He wasn't sure what to do. He wasn't sure whether to trust the boy and help him, but he wasn't too keen about Marguerite either. It felt like it was everyone for themselves. The sneaking feeling of frustration settled in his stomach. There was no reason to attack, but he was getting uncomfortable with the amount of tension in the air.
Maggie watched the other boy edging away. She was perfectly fine with him leaving; she didn't want anything to do with him. But at the same time letting him go might be a bad idea. He could run off to inform the other humans."He's just arrived here, hasn't he?" she asked Ryne, despite knowing he had just arrived.
Ryan, by then, had calmed down a little. He started to walk away with a fast pace, but faltered. Maybe these people could tell him how he could get back? All he wanted was to hold his little sister in his arms again, maybe even eat his mother's Sunday dinner. The thought about food made his stomach growl and he blushed, crossing his arms over his chest as he walked back to the tree to listen.
((Sorry if it's short. I'm on mobile))Ryne dipped his head in a light nod. "It looks like it," he confirmed. He shrugged his shoulders, not saying too much more.
So far, Marguerite didn't look like she was going to attack. Reluctantly, he slowly lowered his blade and sheathed it. His hand rested on the hilt, ready to pull it out if necessary. "Never really saw him around before, but he sure is an interesting one," Ryne mused.
Maggie watched him sheath his knife, and did so with her dagger as well. Then she looked back at the human who was trying to sneak off, and nodded. "Run away if you want," she called after him. "But don't let the old man catch you." She added a bit of tease to her voice, and chuckled when Ryan started to come back.
Ryan frowned at her, but didn't say anything. He glanced at the other guy, his brow still furrowed. He rested his shoulder and head against the tree and listened for any useful information about getting back to the real world. Anything could help at the moment, even the slightest hint on where he could go to get actual information. His eyes half closed, and his stomach grumbled, complaining about not getting any food.#
((Its fine, I am on mobile as well at th moment ))

Ryne sighed and closed his eyes. "So why are you here?" He asked. He turned his head to the side in boredom. He lowered his voice to barely a whisper as if he was talking to himself. "Seriously, whenever I'm here, I don't really see anyone..." He trailed off with a bit of wonder in his voice.
Ryne usually spent his free time alone and by himself, either training, playing, or just relaxing. Despite his love to mess with people and talk freely, he had to admit that he was probably more of an introvert than an extrovert. He crossed his arms and opened his eyes again. Today was really unexpected. Maybe it was a waste of time.
Maggie waited for Ryan's reply. She glanced behind her, just to make sure no one was listening in or just wandering around nearby. Seeing that no one was there, she leaned back against the tree she had been hiding behind, beginning to wonder why the human actually was here. Maggie thought he would say that he had accidentally arrived in Wonderland. But if he was working for those humans, he would use that reason too. She casually rested her hand on the hilt of her dagger-which sat in its sheath on her belt-in case he had the nerve to mention his working with the enemy.
Ryan glance at the girl resting her hand on the dagger, then glanced again. He ran his hand through his dirty brown hair and chewed his bottom lip nervously, tearing the cracked skin off. He didn't do well with violence, ever since he had seen his friend lying dead next to him. Just the memory of that made his stomach clench making him want to throw up. He went a bit pale, wondering if he would have the same fate.
Ryne's face hardened, starting to get impatient and annoyed with the silence and lack of answers. His fingers dug into his palms. "Well, someone's going to have to answer, or else I might as be off," he muttered angrily. He took a moment, breathed in, and quickly calmed down. He unclenched his hands. He adjusted his mask and quietly sat on the forest floor, waiting for something to happen. Ryne unsheathed his knife and began tracing random designs in the dirt with the blade as he rested his chin in his other hand. He looked calmer, as if that angry outburst hadn't just happened.
Maggie glanced down at the top of the dagger's hilt and rubbed off a smudge of dirt. "I think he's accidentally entered Wonderland," she mumbled as she did so, but loud enough so the others would hear. Then she looked up at the human. "What's your name, anyway?"
((Sorry, I keep forgetting about this RP >~<))
Ryan frowned a little but looked at the ground, until he was spoken too then he raised his head a little. "Since you were eavesdropping shouldn't you already know?" He asked quietly whilst fiddling with the hem of his sleeve which was covered with dirt. He looked up at the girl with a furrowed brow and confusion in his eyes that he couldn't hide. "What's it to you anyway?" He asked after a moment of silence.

Ryne looked up from his messy dirt drawings, still absentmindedly using the tip to add onto the doodles. He blinked and readjusted his focus to the topic at hand. "Ya know, I kinda want to know too," he adds hesitantly, after speaking up. The pawn leaned forward in interest, not before picking up his blade from the ground and placing it safely in his lap. "Why are you here and how exactly did you find us?" He inquired, his brown eyes sparking with curiousity.
Maggie opened her mouth to snap back a threatening reply, but was stopped by Ryne. She gripped the hilt again, waiting until Ryne was finished. Then she stepped forward. "If you haven't noticed-which is pretty impossible-there's a war going on between us and your kind. So, technically you're an enemy and you should be dead by now," she retorted. Then she stood back again and nodded to Ryne, indicating that the human could answer hus questions now.
Ryan's eyes widened slightly and he took a step backwards. He bowed his head and mumbled. "I dunno." He said and cracked his knuckles self-consciously, another habit he had out of many. He chewed his bottom lip and shifted his weight from one foot to the other. "I just... came here by accident.." he murmured softly. His head still bowed, he stared at the knife in the other guy's lap, he gulped hoping that the knife wouldn't be used on him.
The soldier pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to contain his annoyance. Common discrimination again. Ryne grit his teeth, biting back an angry retort. He was trying not to cause any problems here, but this girl was seriously starting to get on his nerves. His hand hovered towards his stomach, right over his tattoo, a common habit of his. He quietly glared at the ground, letting her continue. A shadow cast over his eyes, concealing the shifting colors of his irises. Hopefully the boy wasn't a threat. Ryne wanted to leave as soon as possible.
"That's what they all say," she whispered softly so the others couldn't hear. Maggie glanced into the forest. To be honest, she just wanted to be on her way, but she wouldn't leave the human just yet. When she realized Ryne wasn't going say anything, she asked, "What were you doing just before you woke up here? Where were you?"
Ryan snapped back to reality as the girl asked him. "Huh?" He asked nervously, his hands moving to rub the back of his sweaty neck. He didn't like being asked questions, especially difficult questions. "Erm... W-well, I was... a student in a b-oarding school." He mumbled his mouth getting dry just at the thought of Dylan Daniels, his used to be best friend. He shuddered at the memory of his dead emotionless face.
