Alma Malloy (Frank’s mother) gets into the investigation! Your thoughts?

This was good. I like to see Mrs Malloy being a bit more normal - there was some character development there that does not happen often for her.

I actually thought they would have her go to the theater and snoop around for them. She could have questioned Adelia and play the adoring fan. I was kind of disappointed when she wasn't more involved in the investigation.

I loved it! As Phrynne states, we never get much positive about this woman and I like that her moments were brief as it meshes with her slowly integrating into the relationships she’d previously steered clear of. You know there’s a caring person there because of her devotion to Brian and now Catherine. I’m liking how Thompson is carefully evolving this character from a disagreeable person to someone with a lot of layers.
