I chose to read this book because many children and teachers read it, but I don't get the chance to read it. However, I did read it and I really enjoyed reading it. The author has a smart way of understanding children's minds. In this wonderful story, Carroll's imagination engages children and adults to read the story, which makes this book known and translated into many languages in the wide world. This story appeals to children because of it held inquisitiveness and guesswork as to its meaning’s interpretations. In each story, it shows the innocence of a young girl who meets surreal creatures during her adventure in Wonderland. Children will be engaged more in the story especially when they read about Alice's youthful curiosity and the fantastical nature of the story. Also, the story engaged adults with irony and creative diction. The story is imaginative and creative, so it attracted adults too. The adults in Wonderland are so powerful and absurd, even the character that helps Alice have a dark edge. Alice's traumatized by the characters and environment. However, she cries when it is impossible to understand the unclear rules of Wonderland. She said that "Everything is so out of the way down here". This story was exciting for children because it contains adventures, as well as exciting suspense when it ends. For adults, the story exciting because it contained Irony taste, and it talked about the treatment of adults with a child who is always curious and wants to discover everything.
