Video: Eight Reasons Why I Don't Share My Faith

Thank you for sharing that with us Chris. I think we all have our excuses for not sharing our faith. My biggest ones are that I'm afraid of what people will think of me, and I don't know how to go about it. We (myself included) need to remember that it's not what people think that matters, but that it's what God thinks. We are working for the Lord not for men.
Absolutely! Those are my biggest reasons, too. It's especially hard when you have a quiet personality like me, but God can give us strength to be a witness for Christ.
I'm the same way. I'm a quiet person too, and I tend to shy away from uncomfortable conversations. Does anyone else want to add anything in regards to sharing they're faith?
I saw this video in an Evangelism class at my church a while back and it really hits the nail on the head for me ( in a funny way) about my hesitation to share my faith. Just like you guys, I'm an introvert and not a fan of uncomfortable conversations, so I tend to avoid them. I work in a secular environment with a lot of opinionated people who are not believers, but I do my best to be a witness with how I speak, act, and even think around them. I've never openly discussed the gospel with my coworkers, which I'm ashamed of, but I'm trying to find opportunities to speak truth into their lives by offering a Christian perspective when they offer their secular worldview. It's not easy by any means, but I think the key is trusting in God to give words to speak at the right time and not falling on the excuses shown in this video.
I am reading a good book about conquering your fear of sharing your faith. It is called 'conquer your fear, share your faith' by Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron
All those are nice! (Ie the video and the books-- not the excuses.)Ya i think a big thing for every believer is we don't know how to start/go about it. What we all need to remember (me included) is that God gives us the words, God's in control, and even if we do say/do anything wrong, God changes the bad to good! And also, it's fairly unlikely that whatever we did say/do would cause him/her to stay away forever. ;)
