Don't shoot me buuuuuut I was one of those who kind of thought Allegiant's ending was fitting.

It just.....fit. Sad as that is.

Doesn't mean I liked it had to happen but, I accepted it and took it for what it was :(

And, in a way, the author got what she wanted-we will never forget what happened. We'll never forget her book.

Like, okay, didn't you think- (view spoiler)[ It was kind of noble that she realized her life was worth something, but knew she loved her brother too much to let him die?? That she was willing to risk her life for him? I thought that aspect was beautiful. She grew up and learned the meaning of life and how precious it was. It was the ultimate sacrifice of love but not hasty or misplaced.

I was devastated, sure, but I had guessed either she or he died....it was horrible watching him break down and omg it killed me but, at least he lived, ya know?? I feel like Tris would have moved on and that is why I think she chose TObias to live as well (hide spoiler)]

Chelseaa we talked about this - I LOVED the Allegiant ending! It did fit and everything. BUT I don't need a repeat in In The Afterlight, just saying. :'D

And I agree with every single thing you said in the spoiler part.

Haha agreed ! :D Allegiant's ending may have fitted, but I don't want In the Afterlight to destroy me that way :(

Now you all are freaking me out. Your damn spoilers and talking about the Allegiant ending Oh. My. Gosh! WTF?! Lol. But I did think the ending of the Divergent series went along with the theme of the series. It wasn't what I wanted but was perfect for the series.

YESSS! I heard some hit stores early and my local chain store always has early crap on the shelves, so I went in, fingers crossed, and OMG there were two copies! I practically ran to the checkout! (After picking up 2 books on clearance of course. lol)
Im so excited. And the inside of the dust jacket is awesome!!!!

@Portia: Clancy fan here! I'm not sure why I like his character so much... Guess I'll find out in the next book :D

And yes Allegiant was devastating. I had so many mixed feelings about it I drove my best friend crazy with my ranting!

But ladies isn't it just so amazing how these authors (namely Bracken and Roth) are so wonderfully capable of drawing the reader in and have them investing so wholeheartedly in the story and making that connection with the characters? I don't know it just seemed so appropriate to say 'cus u guys' comments are so passionate!!

Yep The Darkest Minds isn't really present here in Germany...unfortunately! They never had this book in my store as well!

Elenaa, are you able to get In The Afterlight soon?? Because I just pre-ordered it on Amazon and I'm getting it on the 7th :/ And I can't even download it on my Kindle that day because they don't have the Kindle Edition of the Darkest Minds series on Amazon!

I'm so annoyed right now. And so jealous of those of you who live in the US!

I wanted to pre-order so many books this month but everytime they said: You'll get it after 2 weeks or something. So I didn't pre-order anything, waited till the book came out, ordered it then and got them after 1 or 2 days....so I don't know if the prediction of them is right and they actually arrive after 1-2 weeks but if you don't pre-order them you'll get them just like every other book within 2 days...So I wanted to wait till Tuesday and order it then .. :)

Damn, I should've asked you before pre-ordering! But now that I think about it, when I pre-ordered Heir Of Fire, they said the same thing and I ended up getting it way earlier! So fingers crossed!

Ahh good ! Yeah I guess it'sjust wrong information...I mean if they have the books why sending pre-orders WAY after sending the books that were ordered on the publication date? :D That doesn't make sense :P Don't worry ! :)

Strangely with Clancy that's the first time I don't root for the 'other guy' and as you know I loved Warner, but I never succeeded in connecting with him here, don't know why^^

And I have the same problem with Amazon, in France we can't have the kindle version either, and the hardback is announced for the 12th November so I ordered it on BD, that's on its way But that's true sometimes the date change : I had Opposition the 1st august and not the 5th^^

Hi, Krys! Yes, it's so amazing these authors drag us in and make us wholeheartedly obsess over these characters and devastated if they meet their fictional maker

I like Cole, too, but I definitely need Liam to make it first and foremost lol
