History
Lindoro was born in the Tuscan town of Montefeltro in 1908. He always had a fascination for the skies, since he heard of the Wright Brothers' flight in 1902. He would always make paper gliders and such, and hear about the flying machines that Leonardo da Vinci had tried to make.
His father was a land surveyor and Lindoro learned the trade. He moved to Fiesole in 1923, when he was 15. He got a job surveying the land for a bunch of German musicians who wanted to build a villa in Tuscany, and they started calling him "Contino" after Count Almaviva from Il Barbiere di Siviglia, who made a fake identity and called himself Lindoro.
He somehow befriended a bunch of people who were involved in flight, and they invited him to come to America and learn how to fly. Thus he took a boat over to America, which was a horrible experience for him. He
Once he was there, he realized that he wasn't as good at flying as he was at navigating, so he was hired by a new airline to do that. Eventually he was hired by Pan-Am to be the navigator on this flight!
Personality
Lindoro is very serious about his work. He hates it if anyone distracts him or gets in his way. His personality is very Italian - he's quite funny but serious just the same. He's very good at math and quick calculations, and is very good at his job.
He likes music and food (because he's Italian) and is quite a good cook. He's not afraid of heights but he gets a little nervous sometimes when he realizes that he's actually in the air.
