History
Philly was born in England in 1936 to her parents: her mother was an American and her father was an Englishman. When WW2 started, they quickly moved to America. In school she had mostly good grades. Not much interesting happened to her. She loves to read a lot and discovered the writings of Jules Verne, especially "Around the World in 80 Days", which has inspired her go to on this trip.
When she was 18, instead of going to college in America like her parents thought she would, she came back to England and had been living there ever since.

When she did move to England, she got a job at a club where only rich men tend to go. One of the men, Placide Trembel, a Frenchman, fell in love with her, and kept asking her to marry him. She refused, of course - she wanted to have an adventurous life and had no intentions to get married (yet). One day, he didn't come to the club, and she learned that he had been in a fight and died, and he had left everything that he owned to her - thus she now has a vast fortune.

Her whole life she's been looking for some adventure like in the books she's read, and when she saw this opportunity, she just had to come!

Personality
Philly is kind and very sweet. She's also quite intelligent and quick thinking. Unlike many other girls, she has no desires to get married or find love at all, and only wants adventure. She dreams of seeing South America and Asia... When people criticize her for being a woman and wanting to do stuff like that, she can explode rather easily and yell at them a lot. Her favorite color is orange and her favorite season is autumn. She likes classic literature and history.

➽ Katherine is a dainty looking girl with delicate features. Her face is heart shaped and framed by brown curls. Her eyes are almond shape with dark lashes that don't need any make-up and the their chocolate brown colour can draw you in. Her lips are full and pink and her cheeks always have a faint pink blush to them unless she is sick. Her skin is described as cream and roses by those who know her. She is petite and very slender without many curves.

➽ Something everyone notices about Kathy even if they have only met her once is the fact that she always speaks her own mind and doesn't seem to care about what other's think of her. The second part is not true of course but she knows better than to show that she cares as that what leads to people gossiping about you behind you back. If you just show them you are not bothered they soon get bored. Another thing about her is that she values her independence but not so much she won't accept anyone's advice or help. Katherine is an observant girl and sees things many others don't whether it be details about her surroundings or things people are trying to hard like emotions. She can see through guises and masks pretty easily which makes her valuable to MI6 as a spy. She is a flirt and she knows it but that doesn't mean she isn't looking for a serious relationship. Kathy is also adventurous and has loves the thrill of danger which is the reason she accepted the job when a fellow stewardess recommended her to the agency. She would hate to be tied down to the small town she was born in like so many of her old friends and is glad she got out when she was offered the chance. Many people consider her to be friendly which she is but she is friendly most of the time becuase she has to be, people at Pan-Am would report her if she was in a bad mood as they expected Stewardesses to always be happy. Katherine has a good sense of humour and can often be found laughing with wealthy passengers as often as she can be found flirting with them. She doesn't have a secretive nature which makes it hard for her to hide the fact she is a spy from anybody but she is excellent liar so the too go hand in hand to help her keep her secret. Her friends describe her as abrupt and often very blunt around those she doesn't like. She is also very quick to judge people based on their political beliefs especially if they have communist beliefs.

Katherine is the youngest child born to Rachael and Zachary Taylor a pair of small town real estate agents. The small towns name was Louisville. She was an easy baby to look after and never needed much attention. You could leave her for hours on her own when she turned six months and never hear anything out of her unless she was hungry or needed changing. As she got older she became more prone to temper tantrums and always was getting into trouble. She could never seem to be good. Katherine had a fairly normal upbringing despite the war as unlike so other many young men her father did not go off and fight he stayed home. But that decision had its consequences as the family was now know for cowardice but Katherine's parents protected her from it as she got older by employing a tutor to teach her instead of sending her to school like her sister Grace who got bullied as her father was a coward. This annoyed the young Kathy greatly as she wished to see more of the world even then rather than just her home and her next door neighbours house. But at the time she didn't realise it was an advantage as the tutor picked up on her talent for languages when he was teaching her French and ended up teaching her how to speak, read and write fluently in four more. The only downside was that he was very strict so Katherine was acting up so she quite often got into trouble. But she put up with it and at 16 ran away from home to join her sister in the city. At first she just had a job in the library as she wasn't old enough to work as much else apart from a waitress but it passed the time and the years till she could get a job as a stewardess like she always wanted to. But then plans changed. She met a young man who she fell in love with and within the year they were engaged but things didn't last as he was conscripted to join the army and he died six weeks later in Vietnam. Katherine was devastated and spent most of the next few months in her room refusing to come out. She barely ate anything until Grace decided enough was enough. Grace applied to Pan-Am on Katherine's behalf and dragged her to the interview after cleaning her sister up a bit. Katherine impressed the interviewer getting herself her dream job. She was soon jetting off to different places around the world. A couple of months after she started she had enough confidence to start flirting with the passengers when they flirted with her so when they landed in different air-ports around the world she was often taken into expensive restaurants and given expensive trinkets by the wealthy clientele. Katherine adored her life but often wished she could do more especially as more news about the Soviet-American conflict became available and her dream came true when she was recommended to MI6 by a fellow stewardess. Katherine was now going on missions - now why would I elaborate it is classified after all. But I will tell you she met a communist man on her travels one that infuriated her and got in her way but despite this they often ended up in a bed in the nearest hotel together. The next big thing to happen to Kathy was getting on this flight- the first of its kind.

Hope has dark brown hair that is very straight and often up in a bun during work hours. Since she travels around the world she is flexible with cultures and is always trying new hair styles. But, no matter what, when on the job, she has it up tightly in a bun.
Blue eyes, brown hair, how unique. Hope has usually dark midnight blue eyes. They tend to seem mysterious because of the eye shadow she sometimes wheres when she is out and about but not at work. During work she is powdered and beautiful but very natural and not attention grabbing.
Hope isn't short, but isn't tall. At the height of 5'5 she looks right with her weight.
Though, defiantly thin, Hope doesn't give off the overly skinny impression. Even if she were, you wouldn't be able to tell. Usually, she is in puffy dresses that are from the waist down but the puff makes it slightly cover her tiny stomach.

Lots of love & happiness is displayed in Miss Leyton's personality. She comes across as a cute young stewardess filled with smiles & cheer. Trust me, she comes across the way she is. Some people act in such a manor that it seems fake but luckily Hope is a true optimist that could never be called pushed. No matter what people say, there is no passing up that Hope is a welcoming sweetheart. But, not all the time can this lady be perfect. Times come when you have to put on your game face and take things serious. Miss Leyton could also be considered serious. She isn't poor but not rich either and when something in her life or business should be taken serious there is no hesitation. Lastly, I must say Hope is a sly lady with lots of tricks up her sleeve. Don't be mistaken, teasing & joking aren't her tricks. She is very sneaky and can get away with nearly anything. Luckily, Hope is a good person. If she weren't, this trip may've been a little rough.

A long night in nearly mid November lingered on when the daughter of a librarian and nurse was born. Hope Leyton, the child's name, was a chubby adorable child. The baby was born nearly a month early so she was very petite. Her eyes always seemed alive though. They were a deep blue with confusion and...hope in crystal form. Linda Day Leyton, the mother of this fine child, was beautiful but in the first 2 months her child was home her beauty was shaken. Chaos would be the only word to describe the household. Mrs.Leyton already had 2 children, not to mention. One boy and one girl who were also filled with complaints and energy. With a baby in a crib and another daughter in a high chair her son was running in his little light up blue Sketcher sneakers around the house 24/7.

A time came when even after the kids grew up something caused craziness, again. That son, Harrold, which everyone called Harry, got a disease by the name of Lung Cancer. He was the eldest child and even though he didn't know it, it made everyone very sad. The other kids, Penelope & Hope, were slightly left out but that was the least of their mourning. For gods sake, poor Harry needed all the attention he could get. Luckily, after 5 years of being sick with cancer slowly he got better. Though he still had a touch of cancer it can't effect him much or steal his life.

Meanwhile, Hope Leyton was sad, but she went to the public school district and had many friends. She was considered a "popular girl". Pretty, decent amount of money, friendly, and sweet. How couldn't she be loved by people and have millions of friends. On her eighteenth birthday Hope's very wealthy friend took her on a trip to their beach house in California. She was never on a plane until that day. Stewardess would walk down the ail and fancy lights flickered every so often. They were in first class and could hear conversations in the kitchen. Hope thought it was just so interesting and decided that is what she wanted to do.

When the time came to apply to college Hope first went to Columbia for a degree in law for a back up if her dream job didn't work out. Mostly her father wanted her to be a lawyer and said he'd pay to go to Travel Academy if she went and got her degree. After she graduated she decided summer break wasn't needed and went straight to Travel Academy. When she finished school she was thrilled to see an opening at Pam Am. From there on being a stewardess was apart of Miss Leyton's life.
