The Last Song discussion

Why did you choose this book?
I chose this book because it was one of the books avalible in the library when we were there and I had read The Notebook which is also written by Nicholas Sparks.
-What did you think about the book?
I thought the book was okay. It was long so it took me a bit to read but in the end, I enjoyed it. I loved seeing the relationship between Ronnie and her father progress as well as the one between Ronnie and Will.
-In your own words, give a brief but helpful plot summary (no spoilers please!)
The Last Song focuses on a 17 year old girl named Ronnie who is forced to go stay with her father in North Carolina for a summer. Things are rough between the two because her father left her family three years ago and they haven’t spoken since. She hates staying there until she meets Will. At first the two don’t get along but over time, they begin to catch feelings for eachother. As Ronnie has to deal with the problems within the relationship between her and her father as well as her new relationship.
-Tell us who you would recommend reading this book next.
I would recommend this book to Anna because when I asked her if she would read it she said sure. Its a rom com in book form so I would recommend it to someone who enjoys love stories.
