Witches, Weres, and Vamps, Oh MY! discussion

It was mentioned in another thread that it would be nice to rate a series as a whole. Unfortunately we can't do that on GoodReads BUT we can in our group!

NOTE: If you started the series and just couldn't continue I think you should still rate the series just make a comment about how many books you've read or something similar. Otherwise the only ratings will be from those who like the series enough to continue. Sometimes knowing how many people didn't like the series is VERY important information when trying to decide to start the series or not.

Here is a list of series I've got set up to rate (in the polls). If there is a particular series you'd like to see how the group feels about it please be sure to post it here and I'll add it asap. You can also create a poll yourself and I'll add the link to our list.

I'm wondering if anyone has voted on series polls when they have not read the entire series? I'm just curious because there are a few that I am either in the middle of or have decided to not read further. I have not voted in either case. Should I vote if I've only read one book?

I have read all of these and thought they were all very good and would recommend them to anyone who likes paranormal romance type of reading. I love Laurell K Hamilton the most, but she is more voilent than the rest, a little darker. Night Huntress is probably my second favorite followed by Mercy Thompson. Anne Rice is not really romance, but is a great series anyway.

I'll go through your list Melanie and add any new series. They don't need to be romance, in fact I think my own personal reading habits are moving away from romance books as much and I think I've noticed the trend with some of our other members as well.

I voted on Armintrout's Blood Ties and I upped my vote for Harper Connelly since September.

Anyone put Eileen Wilks World of the Lupi books on your lists?

Or Lynn Viehl's Darkyn books?
