Jane Huttner | 157 comments This section was very good. I like how George and Sadie referred to sex as poundcake. In the early 60's unmarried couples really had to be discreet and teachers even more so if they wanted to keep their jobs.
I like how Sadie realized George wasn't telling the truth and sent him away because he couldn't tell her anything. Then she goes to Reno and lives without him, even dating someone else, and realizes she can't live without him and takes him back after he saves her from almost killing herself with drugs and booze combined.
I also liked how Jake decided it was more important to save Sadie from Johnny than to see if Oswald was alone.
