The book character that I love to invite for dinner would be Harry BoschMichael Connelly portrays him has a grumpy man. I believe he is a softy at heart. Harry Bosch will help his friends and family in time of need.
Dejah Thoris, the princess of Helium from the planet Barsoom. I would like to see for myself just how lovely is the most beautiful woman of two worlds.
That’s a tough one. I’d have to narrow it down to Miss Marple or Campion when he’s a little older and more mellow in the books, as they’re more friendly and polite. I’d ultimately go with Miss Marple though. Sherlock, Sam Spade, or Philip Marlowe would say something wisea** or offensive, and Poirot would complain about the food and neatness of my apartment. Hahahahaha! Miss Marple would probably be friendly and impart wisdom to me, and be comforting. She wouldn’t say anything about my cooking even if she didn’t like it, even if she gossiped about it later.

I'm sure Miss Marple wouldn't gossip about your cooking. Maybe tell people she was sure the victim was poisoned by eating your cooking though :)

If I’m thinking about just having a relaxing evening, I’d go for Myrna, Gabri and Olivier from 3 Pines.

I'm not sure about Myrna. She seems bigger than life to me and I might be uneasy around her. But definitely Gabri and Olivier. I'd rather go to the Bistro than have them come to my house - eat some good food.

If you could invite one book character over to your house for dinner, who would it be & why?
