message 1: by Lorna (new)

Lorna Ok, idea....

We write a story, each person adding one or two sentences each post. Me first:

message 2: by Lorna (new)

Lorna Thunder rumbled in the distance, threatning to deliver the forcast storm earlier than predicted.

"Please, please not yet" I pleaded with the sky.

message 3: by Marley (new)

Of course, the sky never seems to listen. It only grumbles in response before I hear a drip.

message 4: by Lorna (new)

Lorna That one drip was the beginning of a light drizzle, then a torrential downpour. I was soaked to the skin in seconds.

I slipped towards my destination. Listening to the heavy punching of the ground by water.

(gender?)

Rachel (aka. Kaiserin Sisi) (looney-lovegood) I continued through the park in spite of the rain, looking for the river. Then, I heard a lightning crack.

(whatever gender you want)

(Asking Lorna)

The hoorid rain hit the little fake river under the decrotive bridge I ran over. I slip and fall on my face.

message 8: by Liz (new)

Liz (lizgore) | 97 comments Damn I thought to myself. That would show tomorrow.

message 9: by Lorna (last edited Sep 07, 2009 10:06PM) (new)

Lorna ((Whatever you want :)))

I scrambled to my feet again and continued to trudge through the driving weather. As I neared the edge of the park I saw the road Hector had told me would be there. I scanned the numbers as I crossed the road and found the house I was looking for.

((sorry, that's 3...I coudn't help myself X)))

(It's k, girl then?)

My skirt was now stuck to my legs with rainwater, I try desperatly to wring it out. I take a moment, before firmly knocking on the door.

message 11: by Lorna (new)

Lorna (Ok :))

Nothing happened. I waited a few minutes, then leaned sideways to look in through the cracked window.

message 12: by Lorna (last edited Sep 07, 2009 09:31PM) (new)

Lorna ((FINE...I'll go again...))

Through the liberal amount of dust on the glass, I could see into what appeared to be the living room. It was hard to be sure, for everything in there was broken, and looked like it had been months.

message 13: by Liz (new)

Liz (lizgore) | 97 comments I looked down at the piece of paper in my hand. I loved Hector's familiar handwriting.

message 14: by Lorna (new)

Lorna ((Yay, Liz!!))

Written clearly in his elegant, almost feminine script was: '57 Riverslea Terrace. Alegra.'.

This was the right house.

message 15: by Liz (new)

Liz (lizgore) | 97 comments ((of course lorna :P))

I told myself not to expect anything so as not to be disappointed, but this? I wasn't sure what to do.

message 16: by Lorna (last edited Sep 07, 2009 10:07PM) (new)

Lorna Stuffing Hector's note into my pocket, I sat down with my back up against the door and pulled my knee's up to my chest. I would wait. If no one came in an hour, I would have to break in.

message 17: by Liz (new)

Liz (lizgore) | 97 comments ((she was wearing a skirt :p)

I knew this was it, my last chance. I wasn't going to blow it like last time.

message 18: by Lorna (new)

Lorna ((ooh woops ... I changed it :D))

I don't remember falling asleep. I just remember being shaken roughly awake and looking into an unshaven, grimy and rather angry face.

message 19: by Marley (new)

I gasp. "I didn't expect to see you..."
