Thunder rumbled in the distance, threatning to deliver the forcast storm earlier than predicted. "Please, please not yet" I pleaded with the sky.
That one drip was the beginning of a light drizzle, then a torrential downpour. I was soaked to the skin in seconds.
I slipped towards my destination. Listening to the heavy punching of the ground by water.
