I read this many years ago so I am not sure how much I will join in the discussion since my memories of it are pretty limited. But I remember liking it enough to read the rest of his Mars books.

Jemppu | 17 comments Just read this recently too, and can only recommend it highly. Am excited to get to the following books; this left me with a hankering for similarly clear headed, hard SF.

Anthony (albinokid) | 53 comments I just reread it for this group and a concurrent other group’s read, and I loved it even more the second time through. looking forward to discussing it with everyone.

Christopher (skitch41) | 49 comments This will be my first time reading Red Mars. I’ve seen it on the shelf at bookstores and its description has always fascinated me, so I am eager to read this for myself at last.

I read this many years ago, my memories are hazy and I remember I enjoyed it.
With that said, a reread is in the cards, just not at this moment, More than likely next summer
