I have a few suggestions: some aren’t fantasy and have little romance but the story is really good so idk you might like them -girls with sharp sticks
-illuminae files
-the watch that ends the night
-ace of shades
I want to double check I have the right authors for:The Watch That Ends The Night - Allan Wolf
Illuminae Files - Amie Kaufman
With appealing reviews, I'll definitely be looking for these books. Have you read the entire Illuminae trilogy? I'm also excited about it being "told through a fascinating dossier of hacked documents—including emails, schematics, military files, IMs, medical reports, interviews..."
Yes I’ve read the entire series about a billion times they are such great books. I would recommend that you read the physical copy rather than just listen to yeh audiobook bc the images and way the books are written are mind blowing. Also the watch that ends the night is such a eye opening book and has such a great way of telling the story of the titanic and most if not all of the characters and stories told are based on real life passengers on the ship. Long story short you have the right authors ;)
the illuminae trilogy is okay but there is a lot of boring, too convenient, and really looong parts. Not to mention the twists get a bit predictable after a while.
if you like complex ideas about religion, a lot of action and warfare, betrayal and mystery, I recommend the and I darken trilogy. I admit that it isn't High fantasy book but it reads like a fantasy. I actually read the whole trilogy and didn't know until. after reading several reviews that it was actually based off Vlad the Impaler as a girl
This is my all time favorite books....hope you find at least one you enjoy!1. Divergent
2. Red Queen
3. Selection
4. Siren
5. Pretend she’s here
6. Perfected
7. Matched
Enjoy!
The black mage series would be perfect for you (At least the first book of the series) you should try it out :)

Treasures of the LochsThis is suspenseful YA Christian fiction, involving a modern-day treasure hunt in Scotland, with a bit of supernatural thrown in. Blending historical fact and Scottish legend within an action-packed adventure, Treasures of the Lochs is a powerful story of faith, friendship, and redemption. The target audience is teenage and above (some parts would be too intense for younger readers). This book is a 2024 NIEA Finalist in Religion Fiction. It also hit Amazon#1 New Release for Christian Fantasy. I hope you’ll check it out.

I would like a high/epic fantasy book, preferably with little or no romance. Doesn't have to be YA,. :)
