Aaron has dark brown hair that is long enough to reach about a centimeter away from the bottom of his ear. In the back, his hair reaches just above the middle of his neck. In the front, his hair falls somewhat neatly over and covering his forehead. He has medium almond shaped eyes that have a bright shade of electric blue. He has naturally pale skin that could almost have the potential to be compared to a piece of paper. Aaron has multiple cuts and scars all over his body. He personally prefers to keep them covered, but since entering the mental facility, it got harder to do so. Aaron is very skinny. He's definitely not the most muscular or athletic. He tends to run out of breath easily with his small frame.

Aaron Rivers was born on September 17th and raised by his mother, Melinda, and his father, Simon. He grew up with his younger sister, named Taylor, who was two years younger than him. Aaron lived a normal life, that was going well, until he turned seven years old. His mother and younger sister were at a well known shopping center that day. A strange man suddenly walked in and began shooting people. His mother and sister were both killed by active shooter. Later that month, Aaron and his father attended their funeral.
During the funeral, Aaron could tell that something had changed in his father. When they got home, his father acted cruel and harsh. As the months passed, Aaron's father began drinking more. He started to abuse and neglect him. They could rarely speak to each other without it ending up with his father hitting him. His father's neglect went to the point of where he would reject Aaron's basic needs, such as food. During the night, Aaron would sneak down to the kitchen to get the things he needed. He never took too much, though, for fear that his father would find out.
When Aaron would do something his father didn't like, he would punish him, by locking Aaron in a small dark closet. Once, when he was nine, Aaron's father forgot about him, and he was left in the closet for three days. This was how he developed his claustrophobia. Aaron also noticed that he would get multiple panic attacks. He didn't know why and didn't stop long enough to figure out a reason why.
At the age of ten, Aaron developed depression. Most of the time, Aaron didn't know how to deal with the sadness and emptiness that he felt, so he resorted to self-harm. Two years later, Aaron tried to commit suicide. He attempted to do it by cutting deeply on each wrist. Once he did, he laid down on his bed until he became unconscious. Later, he woke up to find himself in a hospital room with his writs tightly bandaged. He found out from a nurse that his father was the one who found him and brought him here. Aaron had no idea why his father of all people would do that.
Aaron was hospitalized and put on suicide watch. While he was there, his doctors diagnosed him with clinical depression. A few hours after that, they also diagnosed him with claustrophobia and panic disorder, after he had a panic attack while in an elevator. Somewhere around that time, Aaron's father was questioned about the bruises and injuries his son had. His father tried to tell them that it was the self harm, but just a few words from Aaron had his father in handcuffs.
A few days later, Aaron was told that they would be moving him to a place called Morwid Juvenile Psychiatric Institution. It sounded ominous enough for Aaron to flat-out refuse being sent there. Especially after hearing that he would be staying there for a long period of time. Abusive father or not, Aaron didn't want to be sent to some madhouse. But it wasn't really his decision. A week later, he arrived at the entrance of the institute, already not liking the look of it.
He has been there for three years, and has always hated it.

Aaron is an extremely shy person who rarely speaks. He keeps to himself and almost never opens up, which makes it hard for him to make friends. He's a generally quiet person who enjoys silence. If you can manage to become his friend, he can act a little kinder and become protective over you. Aaron doesn't trust easily and hates people who lie to him. He definitely doesn't forgive and forget easily. Over the years, Aaron has learned to be independent and to only rely on himself. Aaron rarely smiles. It's probably because of his depression, but he doesn't really care about the reason. Aaron also tends to get nervous and embarrassed easily. He tends to have a bit of trouble standing up for himself at times. If you're mean to him, he'll either take it or ignore you. If you really manage to make him mad, he'll eventually do something about it, which unfortunately makes him react physically. So if you make fun of him, he might just punch you in the face without a second thought. Aaron doesn't really care about consequences. He's suicidal, so he just doesn't care what the results of his actions may be. Aaron unfortunately also has a masochistic and sadistic side to him. With the years of self-harming experience, Aaron has built up his endurance against pain.
